Since pad does not fit a snuggly as I think it should, I can see potential issues with wrinkles and working loose from the mattress. Power chill is a bit of an exaggeration. To me it should be listed as a good basic pad.

Cooling questionable, but may be worth a try

I’m sorry I cannot confirm or deny whether there is much chill to this pad, and in reference to product photo, although it is not an advertised feature, there is little puff to this quilt. Regarding cooling, it seems the sheets I choose usually play more of a role in general chill level, but the main reason I selected this item was to soften an uncomfortably firm mattress.

Soft and comfortable

Really soft and comfortable. Not sure but really chills but it is very soft and fit our Sterns and Foster bed nicely.

Truly keeps you cooler all night!

I have not woken in a puddle of sweat since using. Fits edge to edge and holds in place nicely. Totally worth it.

Really helps keep me cool at night

I ordered this hoping it would work and it does. The pad remains cool helping me to reduce night sweats. It’s not a miracle but it does help when I use light sheets and blankets. I consider it a piece of the “cooling” puzzle.

Perfect amount of padding, perfect fit

If I could give 10 stars on this mattress pad I would. It fits my king Serta adjustable mattress perfectly, and has an ample elastic edge that covers sides and under side of the mattress. The top is nicely padded, with fabric that is warm in winter, and appears will be cool in summer. I really am happy about the ample fabric and heavy elastic edges, so the pad stays in place, instead of barely reaching the bottom edge of the mattress.

This pad stays on my adjustable mattress nicely without bunching. It had a slight cooling effect when you first get into bed

Didn't work for us

It came packed well but my son didn't like it for his college dorm bed. When he laid in the middle of it, he sunk into it and the sides both raised up and wrapped him up like a top split hot dog roll. None of the other reviews seemed to describe that situation so maybe that was just our odd experience.

Power Chill Mattress Pad

This is called a power chill, which is why I bought it. It isn't cooling at all, at least not any more than moving to a new section of the bed. It is also VERY slippery and the sheets slide (even contour sheets) over it to the point of almost coming off. While it is comfy, I did return the second one I bought for another bed.

Doesn't cool But Nice pad

The mattress pad itself is nice and good quality. But, it does nothing about cooling or taking body heat away as described. Save the extra money and just buy the Big One mattress pad.
