Great inexpensive mid-century modern dining chairs

Nice for inexpensive mid-century modern dining look. We wanted a walnut color, with a cloth seat, and a mid-century color scheme. These chairs fit the bill! Tips: I used wood glue + screws for long term stability. As with ANY wood project, at first put all screws in snug, not tight. Then square up the chair & tighten screws on opposing sides. Then go around for a final check to make sure everything is tight. I found this easiest to do with the chair upside down sitting on the box it shipped in.

Gorgiana little chairs

These chairs are wonderful! The color is even more vibrant in person and the wood grain is really nice. Matches my table perfectly even though they were purchased separately. So far they seem to be really sturdy, even though they were a bit challenging and time consuming to assemble. They were worth it!

Wonderfil chairs !

Very sturdy, comfortable and stylish. Putting together was a bit more time consuming than expected. Everyone loves them and comments on them. We have cats and they love them, but the cushion is holding up well to their claws.

So far so good. Great look for a decent price!

Good value

Great value; shipped well and easy to put together. Have held up well to kid use over several months now and anticipating they'll continue working well. Love the cushion color (soft teal-blue in real life).

Great value for great-looking chairs

Easily scratched during assembly. Somewhat lightweight, but they are perfectly serviceable, look great, and the price can't be beat.

Cute chairs and nice quality, but sort of hard to get the screws/bolts in right and they seem to loosen some. I don't regret getting them, though.

Chairs look fantastic and are very comfortable to sit in. The directions leave it as user error if the chairs end up wobbly, which ours are, but not while sitting in them, which is strange, but I'll take it.

My husband actually picked out the mint to match our runners and it looks great! Fairly easy to put together and they look great! Well worth it!

Sturdy, stylish, and subtle

I absolutely love the look of these chairs. They are made of nice, solid wood and feel very very sturdy. I am taking off a star for two reasons; 1) is that the assembly experience could be a lot better. If you don't have a drill, some of the assembly will be tough bc they did not drill any pilot holes for the screws that attach the l brackets to the cushions and there's 4 per chair. There are also no pilot holes on the cushion bottoms but since those are thinner wood than the frame, its a little easier. Also the instructions could use a revamp; I found a much easier way to build these after the first chair. 2) One of the cushions was very warped so even after I leveled out the chair, as soon as screwed the cushion to the frame, it was so warped that it created enough pulling force to lift a leg off the ground. It's not a huge deal bc once you sit down, it levels out again, but it teeters around when there's no weight (or when the cat jumps on). Overstock is going to try to source me a replacement cushion though which is why I only took off one star. If they were unable to help, I'd drop to 3 stars. Once that's resolved though, this is a 4.5 star product in my opinion only marked down bc of a less-than-ideal assembly situation.

really love these chairs. I paired them with a large oak table and they gave it a nice modern flair. they are comfortable and easy to put together

Doesn't feel like it'll survive forever as a frequently used chair - the assembly procedure includes dropping the chair for it to stop rocking (and it does, rock and sometimes stops after a few drops) and some other oddities. Could have been better executed.

Comfortable but tend to get wobbly

I ordered these chairs to replace my old dining room chairs. They were delivered quickly and I was able to put them together by myself without difficulty. They are comfortable and a beautiful blue. The wood is not too dark and is a pretty good match to my cherry dining table. My only complaint is that the screws tend to loosen up frequently and need to be tightened. They become a little wobbly but are easily tightened with the included tool.

Great chairs - hard to assemble

I love the look of these chairs. They are just as pictured and comfortable to sit in. They are somewhat challenging to assemble, though, due to the angle you have to insert the Allen wrench.
