[Rewarded Review] Great lightweight vacuum

I love this vacuum! It is my 2nd one since I needed one at our seasonal home. This vacuum helps me to keep our house much cleaner since it can get in to the far corners if you use just the stick. It is lightweight and cordless. I never wanted a cordless vac until experiencing this wonderful device. I use it everyday and it keeps its charge for a long time. I don’t like emptying the dirt container since if you do it wrong the dirt ends up on the floor but I hold it over the wastebasket to prevent this. I have many other vacuums and some are robots but this is definitely my favorite!

Great but didn’t work for me

I just purchased this on Amazon (same price as this website) and while I love the way it handles, vacuums and the fact that it is white, I am returning it because there are no attachments except a crevice tool.

Game changer vacuum

I’ve had this for just over a week and this is by far the best vacuum I have had. I brought this to replace my shark upright that I’ve had for 5 years and after purchasing and returning the shark Stratos upright as I didn’t like as the power cable being on the opposite side of the vacuum. Never opted for a stick vacuum previously because of the small dust container but this having the stand that automatically empties the vacuum was a game changer. So light and powerful with the added bonus of an extra battery and charger. My only gripe would be the pet tool not sure how that works would have expected a powerised anti hair wrap so if anyone can inform me on how this works would be appreciated. This is a genuine review from my own experience and purchase

[Rewarded Review] Perfect little vacuum for my apartment

I love this vacuum! It's perfect for my 850 sq ft apartment. The suction is super strong. It's very light weight and doesn't get clogged with my very long hair (My last vacuum broke because of this). The battery life seems to be holding strong. I vacuumed my whole apartment and still have battery left over. I love Shark products and this makes vacuuming super easy.

Fantastic vacuum

I was sceptical about buying a cordless stick vaccuum but decided to give it a go because I was tired of lugging the big machiene out everyday to clean. I have been very pleasantly surprised with the power and capability of this vaccuum! Gets up all the dog hair, dirt and dust. Light enough to use for big vacuums or little spills. Highly recommended this product especially with its economical price point

[Rewarded Review] Not perfect, but it's adequate

Pros: Makes vacuuming so easy compared to dragging a cord around. I don't know if I could ever go back to using my big vacuum. Shark's self-cleaning brush roll feature works like a charm. (This is the main reason I chose a Shark over other brands.)

Good features and easy to use

I bought this about 3 months ago and very pleased with it as it light and easy to use especially as I suffer from arthritis and in my 70’s. Just one or two points need working on is battery life, although I did receive 2 batteries with mine. Cleaning out filters on the hand held part can be a bit fiddly but I managed and was surprised how much dirt was trapped in the motor filter and not sucked through to the bin when it automatically emptied. Something I need to watch. I recommend that one orders a spare hepa and motor filter which I have done now. all in all though I do recommend this Shark machine. I’ll save up for a second one for the upper floor of my home.

I bought this for my sister’s apt. after I had already bought one for myself, basically as an electric broom for hard floors, and for the stairs. It has surprised me to do better than I expected. It does have a short electric life/cordless life, less than what it says in the product description. It is not inexpensive. It has made cleaning up the debris on the floor more efficiently.

Would not recommend

I have had this now for a few weeks and would not recommended. The vacuum works well enough but feels cheap and flimsy. I don't think this will last much more than a year or two tops. Auto detection works pretty

Very happy with my hoover

Was looking to upgrade our hoover at home and I was tired of no one emptying the hoover and saw this! Read reviews watched lots of videos and decided to splash out with this one. Really impressed and really happy with its performance. I have predominantly carpets in my house and works a dream. Comes with two batteries and two diff hoover ends. My only downside i would say is the extra hoover accessories have no where to go, the design on the box only holds for one accessory so have to place the other one on top and same with the battery just put the battery on top of the 2L bin. Doesnt bother me but just something to mention. Other than that Im very very happy with the hoover itself! love love love the self emptying feature, makes me want to hoover even more just to watch it!

[Rewarded Review] Don't buy a Shark

Don't do it. Walk away from this purchase. I just returned a Shark Rotator that failed after just two uses, and decided to upgrade to this model. I will be returning this one tomorrow. Not only is the description deceptive (you don't get the docking station) but this thing is completely useless. I can't charge it. They put the wrong charger in the box!! Both the battery and the charger have male connections, so it is impossible to plug it in. Even if they provided the correct parts, read the other reviews. The battery is garbage. You will only get 5 to 10 minutes off a fully charged battery. No thank you Shark. You've had 2 strikes in a row and I don't dare try for a third. I'm going back to Bissell.

Not good

This vacuum is terrible, it barley can vacuum up pet hair, we bought this for the feature of being able to replace the battery, we always bought dyson vacuums previously but the batteries die after a year or two and aren’t replaceable. That being said, I’d rather buy a new vacuum every two years than use this one. Making it simple, it sucks, it goes too fast when it’s on hard surfaces, and to slow on carpets, the IQ technology does not work correctly. We will be looking for a new vacuum.

When deciding between several vacuums, my wife and I were sold on this one based on the photos on the page above, which show the vacuum with a docking accessory that not only charges it, but empties the canister. We decided to pay the additional $40.00 for this unit because of that. However, we discovered when we received the item that it was just a vacuum with a charging cable, no dock.

So I didn’t get one of these for free, so honest review. I’ve always liked shark vacuums more than Dyson. I purchased this after lots of research into a cordless. Cordless in general are a challenge bc they simply run on a battery pack. I had a ryobi cordless which was garbage and exactly where that went. The detect pro is a little getting used to though. It has a good motor and suction and has done a good job so far. It switches between hard surface, carpets, and rugs well so far. I do have some LVP flooring and so far it’s fine even with the brush still attached (can’t take it out). I’ve had it for a short period so can’t say yet on its longevity. I will update if it decides to break early.

Battery life is awful

I was happy with the product the first couple of days but the battery life is terrible, I can’t get through my house before it dies (it’s just a 3 bed house, nothing big) it takes hours to charge again so I’m left with an unfinished house and no way to hover it! You’d expect it to at least last the 60 min duration it states. False advertisement is what it is. I get a maximum 20mins run time which is not sufficient. I am also extremely annoyed that I cannot find complaints section on this whole website, This should be easily found for a customer who is unhappy with their purchase.

NOT as good as it's advertised

I have a Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum IZ300UKTDB and it was wonderful. It's a bit heavy to carry between the floors so I bought this one.

Needs improvement

I like this vacuum, but it has its flaws. One had this vacuum about 2 weeks and have used it 2-3 separate times. It says the battery is supposed to last 40 mins. I get about 15 minutes. Our house is an older home that had many additions over time, so there’s no cut and dry vacuuming. Lots of corners and “separate” rooms on the main floor. I don’t even get through two rooms before it died my second time using it. I felt the first time it may have lasted longer, but I was also spot cleaning very fast. We have a German Shepherd, it does suck up the dog hair nicely, but I also feel that with this vacuum it’s going to smell quicker and the hair will get stuck to the dust canister because of the left over water on the floor from the dog. It is also is pretty powerful and snags/ catches on things very easily, so you have to be more careful on edges of throw carpets, shoelaces, wires etc. Orherwise it seems to “suck” very well for what it is. This vacuum also said pet friendly, but I think it’s meant more for non pet households. I am pretty disappointed with my shark vacuum choice, and I love my other shark vacuum but it broke, so I’m extra disappointed this vacuum isn’t really suiting my vacuuming needs. The battery not lasting 15 minutes is why I gave this 2 stars. My previous vacuum was stick corded, so the idea seemed great at the time to switch to cordless to save time vacuuming and now I’m regretting this decision.

I purchased this vacuum after reading the great reviews. I was surprised at the suction power and the ease of cleaning my stairs, carpet, and floors. After about 2 months, I noticed that it did not pick all the debris from my floors. After another month, I noticed that after 6 hours, my vacuum was still not fully charged. After contacting Shark, the final answer I received was that the warranty would not cover a replacement, and they were not willing to switch it out. The store I purchased it from would not swap it since it is a manufacturing error. In all, I spent more for a vacuum that I only used for 2 and a half months, and neither the store nor the company was willing to work something out.

Brilliant overall

Overall a brilliant vacuum cleaner. The battery life isn’t great because of the brush bar is electronic and has sensors on it. But with regular attachments it’s not bad. My only issue is you need to make sure the pins are connected when you place to charge as I’ve had a dead battery on two occasions. But I’d definitely recommend. Lots of filters that can be clean with just water apparently.
