I’m sure it’s fine if used per the instructions. I bought it because it has a brush applicator and I thought that might be better than the original. However I didn’t read instructions before I purchased. This type is for use just minutes before tossing in the washer. I prefer the type I have been using which says you can apply and leave for several days prior to washing. For me this method works better. So I gave the new brush one and this suited him just fine. I do love the way Shout works it’s magic and recommend it no matter when or how you choose to use it.

this is the best shout product for stains! i live this and yhe brush really help with the toigh stains! this and the shout grease busting foam have to stay stocked in my laundry room. i wont even bother with the whitw bottle of shout anymore.

The Best Stain Fighter!

When clothes have gone through the washer %26 are still stained %26 when the Shout spray doesn't quite work well enough, then I use this Shout Gel. It works darn near every time! With 4 boys in high school football, working on the farm, and the toddler that just likes to get dirty, I buy 4 bottles of this at a time!

Will not remove greasy stains. Ok on other types

It is easy to use and not messy; however it will not remove greasey stains and especially if they have dried in the material. Its ok but its not Spray. N Wash Stain stick imo nothing can beat it.

Works wonders

I have bought the Shout Ultra Gel with scrub brush for years now. It works wonders. I scrub it on a stain and it works! It even works on old stains, grease, etc. Just let it sit for a bit and wash as usual. I think if it can't get it out, then there's no hope.

magical

This stuff is like magic. seriously! The stain disappears in like 3 rubs when going over it with the brush part. All you do is sqeeze a little bit out onto the stain, then rub it in and let the product do it's work. I nornally let it sit on the stain for atleast 30 minutes before washing it. I do wanna say, that stains that are not fresh, will be more difficult to remove, unfortunately. But that's with every stain remover I've ever tried.

Go-to stain remover

This is my all-time favorite stain remover. I wish it came in larger quantities. The attached scrub brush easily massages the thick gel solution into the fabric. Most of the time, I see the stain lifting as I apply. This stain remover works on most stain types.

Worth the cost.

I’ve had a bottle of this that I’ve used for years. It was time for a new bottle. While this is more expensive than other options offered, I chose this again because it simply works very well. It has a scrubber on the top and you scrub your stain area vigorously before washing. Food stains, grease, dirt, they all come clean!

I love the light rubbery bristles that are attached for scrubbing, and the product is obviously amazing. I did notice that on heavier stains I need to sprinkle a little bit of OxiClean powder (or any laundry booster power), and then add this concentrated gel. Once I am done mixing the two products together and doing a light scrub on the stain, I can then easily throw the laundy in the washer as is and it usually comes out perfect! For normal stains I would definitely say this is my go-to if I'm needing to scrub/work on a small stain. Very happy with the product, and I have been for years!

Has been my go-to for a long time

Love it. It’s been my go-to for a long time for those scary stains like blood. I can’t say it always removes every stain 100%, but it does for some, and for others it will substantially lighten to stain. And I love the built-in scrubber.

Been Using For Years

I’ve been using this for years. Works great on kids stains. It works amazing on oil and grease like dressings and pizza. I love that I can let it sit for up to 5 days. Great product. Sometimes hard to find so I stock up.

Best stain remover

I've been using Shout with the brush for years, as did my mom. It's the best for getting out cooking stains and grease. My only complaint is it's more and more frequently hard to find at Walmart, and other stores as well. I almost thought they had discontinued it! Please don't!

Good Spot Remover

Shout Advanced Ultra Concentrated Gel Brush is a good product. There is a brush that helps you scrub the concentrated gel cleaner into your item. Can be hard to find so I stock up on them when I find them. Great to bring with on a trip so stain doesn't set in while away.

Amazing

I have used this stuff for years! There hasn’t been one stain that it hasn’t been removed. Blood, grease, and grass stains have all been removed. I also like the fact that I can put it on the stain and then throw it in the hamper until wash day. That way, I won't forget that the stain needs to be treated before it goes into the washer, and it doesn't damage the fabric like some products do when left on too long. I love this stuff!

Best pre-wash stain treatment!

I have used this stain treatment for years %26 it always works for our food %26 oily stains. So simple to scrub a little into each soiled area %26 and grow it in a regular wash load. Works on colors %26 whites. There are other, less expensive forms of Shout %26 other brands on the market, but they don’t work as well for me. WalMart’s prices are much better than Amazon!

Greats on stains!

I've been using shout for years and it never disappoints. I like how it gets all of my stains out in one wash and I definitely like to pre-soak my sun clothes with this shout spray and the packaging is great. This time I bought the refillable bottle to refill the smaller bottles.

The Best Stain Remover

This is the best stain remover I have ever used. I prefer the concentrated gel over the liquid spray (which is all I can seem to find in other stores) and the brush applicator is perfect for really getting the stain remover rubbed into the stain. This is just one of many products I go to Walmart to purchase since I can’t find it anywhere else.

Great at removing most stains, even heavy ones.

This gel works really well getting stains out of clothes. I have a baby that has blowouts and this stuff works pretty well to get those stains out. I love the scrubber feature so you can really work at the stain to get it out. Has worked on different types of materials. I have used this to pretreat clothes before washing and as the one soap clothes get and it works great!

My husband got this last week to try on laundry. I got to use it today, and I love it! It dog spoiled some messing food on our brand-new white conforter and left a big mess! I grabbed it and shook it well before applying. You don't have to squeeze it too much. As you're scrubbing, it the gel comes out with little pressure. I let it soak for about a half of an hour before washing. I can't even tell that there was a big brown stain on it. I was panicking because of the stain on a white conforter, or else I would've taken pictures before and after. But there is always next time! It definitely works and gets stains out before washing. I highly reccomend this product for everyone to have in their house!

Excellent!

I most commonly use this on food stains. A splash of olive oil on your shirt, for example, might not seem like a big deal, but a washing machine will often leave it looking like a wet spot. I apply this and massage it in by hand, and then rinse with plenty of water while lightly ringing-out the area. It removes stains where other products failed, even when this wasn't the first thing I used -- indispensable!
