Modern silver colored shower hose, a change from ordinary hoses. After several uses following movements made during showers the hose leaks!!! unscrews!!!!! PFFFF:!

Great shower hose

This is lovely. It looks so luxurious and smart in our bathroom. Easy to clean as it does not have the ridges that other shower hoses have. We are very pleased with it.

I squeezed it really tight and

I squeezed it really tight and yet the water leaks out of the hose at the tub water inlet. In addition, it is much too rigid, which tends to put pressure on its attachment point to the bathtub and to weaken the tightening, hence a leak that is growing day by day.

I ordered a handshower hose and one of the washers was missing. What a PIA. That tells you all you need to know about the reliability of wayfair

Failed quickly

Lifespan of about 3 years, some other reviews say even less. This thing has a high failure rate, at least the replacement is not that expensive (not here, get it through Amazon or similar). Mine started leaking and then just popped apart, it did not even get heavy use. Good luck! Wish I had bought a Kohler fixture - they have a lifetime warranty on their products and are always easy to deal with.

Since upgrading my houses plumbing, I now enjoy great water pressure. However, that pressure was blowing out the hose for my handheld shower after maybe 2 months of use. When shopping for my 3rd replacement, I finally decided to give up on the attractive metal hoses and take a chance on this non-metal hose. Good news: this hose has been working great for over 6 months now AND despite not being metal it looks great with my chrome fixtures - doesnt match them but doesnt clash with them either. Its just a well-made hose with a neutral appearance. Bonus: since it isnt metal, no more clattering against the edge of the tub & no more scuff marks on the tile/tub!

Since upgrading my houses plumbing, I now enjoy great water pressure. However, that pressure was blowing out the hose for my handheld shower after maybe 2 months of use. our last one lasted over ten years, not bad. this one looks the same, but the swivel end has a slightly steeper taper so it doesn't get held tightly enough to prevent rotation from hose windup - the swivel has enough seal drag. also, there are more threads in that end than before, so I had to use two washers with my older hansgrohe head/wand. it's fine, i took one from the old set.
