This was an excellent find for my project. I was attracted to the multiple ways I could use. It. This was put to use in an undersink cabinet door that i. An now pull off completely to access under the sink. Worked great and the quality was second to none. No complaints with this product what so ever.

I have a bifold door that insisted on hanging slightly...

I have a bifold door that insisted on hanging slightly open. The small gap this created in the center between the two doors presented a perfect opportunity for a magnetic latch. This kit came with everything I needed to get the job done (well, except for a 5/8" forstner bit to bore a hole for recessing the magnetic cup and matching strike plate). It took less than 30 minutes including setup and cleanup, and that bifold door now stays fully closed. The doors of the bifold are very heavy, so it's hard to say if the magnetic latch is really pulling with 16lbs of force; but for the right application it surely can be an elegant and simply solution to latching a door closed.
