Best dish drying rack had!
I know that sounds ridiculous, but it’s been the best dish rack I’ve had. We had this cheap wrote one that sits perfectly inside one of our double sinks. It works but it always made our sinks look crowded and always full of dishes whether there clean or not. And I didn’t want to put it in the counter just to keep replacing a towel to go underneath. I don’t need a towel with this one and the fact that there are two prongs for cups makes it so that it doesn’t take up too much space inside the rack too! It’s been a perfect addition to our home.
compact steel frame dishrack - Amazing Product!!
I have been searching for a proper dishrack for years one that last and will not cause water to settle and eventually get an odor. This product provides that and more. I saw one in a friend's house and said I have to get it, and it is one of the best products I have purchased. It is compact, cute, dries, and drains with no mess!

Love the new modern sleek design
I had the 2013 version of this dish rack and it was much deeper and taller. steel legs and rack. The redesign is beautiful and everyone that comes over compliments it. The design it more fit for the current day time of modern and sleek designs. Looks not so bulky and smaller but its still functional although the older design did fit a lor more dishes and stuff considering it was deeper and things would not fall out. That being said this may not be for everyone or you may need to consider the xtra large option. For me personally im trying to adjust to the size but dont feel the pressure of hiding it or it taking over my island area.
fWhat a good design!
I had been keeping a drying mat next to the sink but that had to change due to the arrival of a stubborn new kitten who wants to sit on the mat by the window. For the sake of hygiene I had to make a change. I did a lot of comparison shopping. This looked good, with only a couple of competitors left. The tipping point for me to chose this over others was my experience with simplehuan I have always loved the designs you bring to market. I have also always been impessed with quality. I love the design of this unit. I like the quality and would love it if it felt just a little sturdier. Maybe the tray should also be metal?
Nice product but not as good as it used to be
I had the old version of the Simplehuman compact steel frame dishrack, but decided to upgrade to the white version because it matched my kitchen better. Looking back, I wish I hadn't done this because the new version is lacking in several ways. Most importantly, the drip tray is not retractable, meaning this version takes up more space beside my kitchen sink than the old version did. It sticks out by 2-3 inches more. You can angle it to the side, which is what I did, but it still sticks out. I wish I had known this was the case before I gave away my old dishrack.
Amazing Drying Rack
I can’t say enough about the quality of Simple human products. This one doesn’t disappoint with the design, quality and ease of use. They think of everything! The drain can be placed on any side so that it can fit easily on your counter. Not only does it look great it truly is better than any other drying rack I have ever owned. Plus again the quality is so good I know I won’t ever need another one.
Perfect size, white color is great
We had the older, larger size of this, but now that we are putting most things right into the dishwasher, we downgraded to the smaller size. The white color looks great on our new quartz countertop. I do miss the knife caddy that had the slots on it, but oh well. This looks and works great and doesn't look as big on the countertop as the old one did.
Simplehuman dish rack
I cannot say enough good things about Simplehuman products. So far, I have not been disappointed with what they have to offer. Their dish rack is a prime example of that. It is well thought out, of solid construction and clean in design. In that I mean it is just elegant in its simplicity. Saying a dish rack is elegant may be over the top, but it just is. Nice to look at, and functions flawlessly. I am so pleased that it is now part of our redesigned kitchen.
Dish rack
Very nice but a little too small. Should be a little bigger. This rack is smaller than the average wire frame dish racks on the market. They should off er 2 sizes. Very nice design. The plate dividers could use a little more thought. I suggest a second insert to drop on to main insert that allows reconfiguring with additional layouts.
Doesn't drain well when there's only a little water
The bottom of this dish rack is supposed to be hydrophilic and send all water through the drain, but it tends to pool in places around the bottom of the basin and leave stains. I had the old version of this which had the open racks on the sides so you could see through it and it didn't visually take up so much space on the countertop. That version was preferable, but the only upgrade is that the drain spout can swivel in any direction to support multiple orientations for the dish rack. Also, the tray that goes under the cup holders on the side is way too big for a small space, and should have a storage component so you can put it away when it's not in use.
So far so good
The small dish drainer is sturdy and looks great. I wish the flatwear compartments could be positioned in more than one location depending on which side of the sink the drainer is placed. Also would like a lighter color choice (not white). Also seems like there should be some air holes in the sides for better ventilation and faster drying. The water draining functionality is awesome.
Kitchen Quality
Love the smaller size. I have the larger version which was great for a full house. However, No longer needed and was happy to see the smaller version in black. Just the right size. I ordered one for my mother and of course one for myself. Simple Human has great high quality products.
Just right for a small household
The just right rack - it's just enough for the few items that I don't want to run through the dishwasher and takes up only a little bit of counter space.
Does the job and feels sturdy
Got this to replace a far cheaper model I bought online a few years ago that was showing signs of rust. This one appears to be much more sturdy and claims not to rust, but only time will tell. It does however seem quite expensive and "chunky" for the compact model. The spout will certainly drain the water effectively but it is quite large and intrusive and not exactly streamline. Glad I bought it on offer, as I feel like Simplehuman products are generally overpriced and don't look as "premium" as some other high end brands
Cute dishrack
A sturdy dishrack that is perfectly big enough for most sink drainers (I originally bought the standard size but it was enormous and far too big for my drainer). Very smart. I've knocked off one star because I think the little drainer extension should be folding and also it's a little wobbly when you place a cup or glass on it. I tend to use it for large cutlery and knives. The cutlery holder could also be a little sturdier. Apart from that, it's a great item.
Simply Perfect
I thought the Simple Human compact dish-rack was the most stylish of the breed, and I was not disappointed when it arrived. it's very well built, and this is a priority for me. Im too poor to buy mediocre stuff.
should’ve gotten this sooner
I’m so happy with my purchase. I was worried the compact size would be too small but it’s the perfect size for a single individual! It honestly pushes me to do my dishes and I hate to say this but I enjoy doing my dishes now because of this dishrack. I have no neagatives. It was super easy to set up, it fits perfectly in any side of your sink and it really holds your dishes nicely. High rec
Fits Well Inside Sink, Well Made, Removed Spout
I installed my new compact dish rack in the right side of sink. It fits. I removed the drain spout and the glass drain tray. I hope that there’s enough drainage with the one drain opening which won’t accumulate water and get gross.
