Is anyone aware if the bulbs can be changed to allow a diming feature?

We returned this light. It would be better suited to a largEr room. The light was glaring when viewed from a far but produced no soft wide light for reading. We liked the modern look of it in the store but in,our small living room condo it didn't suit our transitional style.

Works just the way we wanted and looks like an art piece when not used as a light.

Beautiful, but way too bright

Beautiful design for my ultra modern home, but the light is way too bright with too much glare for the office I intended to use it. The light actually hurts my eyes on my desk. I chatted with a Lamps Plus service person who is checking with the vendor to determine if I can add a dimmer.
