Good faucet

The faucet looks sleek. It is easy to install. The directions are not very good though if you’ve never installed a faucet before might be above average difficulty.

Good looking faucet, nice finish and easy install

This faucet was used in our 1/2 bath, was easy to install and the black finish was of good quality. Faucet is designed to work with a single hole vanity

Heavy Flow

This review is for the BWE matte black single hole single handle bathroom sink faucet with deck plate (Model #A-96021B-SS). The single handle rectangular faucet stands tall in my bathroom sink. This is exactly what I expected and needed since my basin is a little small and felt cramped with the old standard faucet (see image). The black color brought a splash of modern elegance to my bathroom. I really like the flat color appearance and the fact that it is 304 stainless steel is a plus when it comes to corrosion resistance. The high arc waterfall spout is very sleek, the actual quantity of water is a bit much for my small basin and when the faucet is opened all the way water splashes out of the basin. I’m sure if you have a vessel style or a deeper sink that won’t be an issue for you. My fix is to not open the valve all the way. Half is more than enough flow for me. The faucet comes complete with everything you need to pull off a quick installation. This is assuming your angle stop valves work at the wall. Mine had to be replaced and that was a bit more work than expected. Otherwise, the faucet can be installed with a single hole or using the deck plate (like I did) to cover up the old (4”) three-hole faucet I replaced. The 24” long supply hoses that come attached to the faucet and have a standard 3/8” fitting on the end to attach to your stop valves. The deck plate & faucet have rubber backing at the base to prevent any leakage from the sink top. Of course, you can use plumbers putty or silicone if you want an extra bit of assurance. This faucet does not come with a drain so be sure to buy yourself a pop-up drain separately. Following the faucet removal, I first disassembled the faucet mounting pipe and jam nut so I could secure the water supply lines to the base of the faucet. No need to torque these down. Each hose has an o-ring so just snug them up and your good to go. After re-installing the mounting pipe to the bottom of the faucet, I set the deck plate over the three holes so I could slip the supply lines for the faucet through the single hole of the deck plate. Once the faucet is set slide the washer and backing over the mounting pipe under the sink onto the faucet body. Then use the single mounting nut to tighten the faucet to the sink top. I found that getting the nut somewhat tight with my fingers then using a basin wrench to add a final snug was the best installation method. Don’t overtighten the mounting nut, it is plastic and will strip easily. During this process be sure to check to make sure your deck plate and faucet are lining up properly as they may move a bit as you snug things down. Once this step was completed, I secured the hot and cold-water lines to their appropriate valves. One note here is to pay attention to the supply lines as you tighten the nuts. If you’re not careful you can twist the water lines and cause a flow restriction. All in this took me an hour to install because I had to turn the water system off entirely and cut the copper to install new angle stop valves under the sink. Otherwise, this is an easy installation of about 30 minutes. There isn’t much to this faucet and I expect that if I ever have a problem with it I wont be making a repair but rather a complete replacement. It isn’t very heavy overall and the components for installation are a bit thin, like the mounting pipe for example. This combined with the heavy flow didn’t leave me overly impressed with the product overall, but it works just fine.

Looks wonderful with some flaws

We used this in our powder room on the first floor. Love the black matte finish and the squared off look. We installed this on a small vanity sink.

Okay, but not great quality

I bought this after trying a better quality almost identical design. The bottom of the faucet, the large fitting that has to go through the hole in the sink is too big for my sink. I bought this faucet after watching the assembly video....which is NOT this faucet. My bad for not paying attention to the picture. Even if it would have fit my sink, I wouldn't have kept it. It's very lightweight and not great quality. It's going back and I will try again.

Looks good, but lots of splashing...

Looks good, flow was great, however had to turn the valves a little to reduce the splashing, still aququate waterflow. Would have given it a 5 star other than the splashing. Easy set up but you need to reducers from 1'2" - 3/8".

The faucet looks good and performs as expected. Unfortunately, the supply lines were substandard. The lines easily kink and required additional effort to install. Once installed, the couplings at the valves leaked. Taking apart the feed lines from the house plumbing revealed problems with the gaskets supplied with the feed lines. The gaskets were too small to seal over a standard bathroom water feed valve. Had they been just a bit bigger, they would have sealed properly. I had expense and delay in finding a suitable replacement for the supplied gaskets.

Bigger size

It’s huge. It looks like it’s meant to be a bathtub faucet. It’s so wide. The picture makes it look smaller than it really it is
