Instructions not clear and a solution to a resulting assembly mistake

Really good solid bench. BUT the 18mm dogholes are a nuisance! Nearly all non Sjoberg holdfasts are 20mm, so you’re not able to use them on this bench.

Great workbench

Purchased this from Axminster Tools. Great workbench, easy to assemble and a very versatile product. No flaws or Obviously a great deal of thought has gone in to the production process. Very pleased with purchase.

Nordic Plus 1450 Workbench

Package came within a few days and was intact with one minor ding in the table. Assembly was okay but you NEED to examine each part to verify your legs are oriented correctly. For the price it's an amazing bench and on its own it will be a perfect addition to your shop. The brand is known for making high quality benches and for the price the 1450 does not disappoint. My only recommendation is to widen the groge for the stretches to 3/4" and add a 3/4" piece of MDF that is sized to specs of the 1/4" panel provided in the box. This added more weight and stability. Overall I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a name brand bench at entry level cost.

Nordic Plus 1450 Workbench

Took a while to figure out the assembly. Took a couple of hours. I took the time to glue all of the dowels, which the instructions didn't mention. This thing is solid. No wobble. Easy to move around. Very impressed. Can't wait to ding it up.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS!

I put this together over a year ago and have hardly used it. Went to use it today and it has a big crack in it on the top. The crack is not only lengthwise but it is twisted. This is crappy product!! DO NOT BUY!

Great base for some home woodworking

I am pleased wit the extra surface space this gives me in the garage. The white spruce legs might look cheap at first glance but they are from a superior source and do a great job of creating a really firm/solid feel. I thought this bench was worth every penny (and, perhaps, still do) until I noticed Axminster sell an identical looking item for £100 less. Notwithstanding, This is a great bench if you are a woodworking fan. And it's a Sjobergs.

It's an ok bench. Pretty lightweight. If you're planning on planing on it, you're going to find it moving around a lot. Worst part is that it ships in a thin cardboard box with no foam or anything to protect the wood. Mine had two broken pieces and dings in the tabletop. Lowes isn't helping at all to resolve this issue.
