We love Polywood!

We LOVE our Polywood Chippendale Dining Chairs. They join our 3 Polywood trestle farm tables, our Polywood chaises and our 4 Polywood rocking chairs. We are huge Polywood fans! Comfortable, well-made, attractive, durable and easy care. What’s not to love?

Hardware missing and since this

Hardware missing and since this was purchased and forwarded to our vacation home in the Caribbean now we have to hunt for it. I read others have the same issue so it appears the quality control is either non-existent or just terrible. Not happy about having to go hunt for the dowel screws!

Returning because of arm screw bulge and size

Nice polywood quality lumber but we decided to return because for the price they aren't perfect (when assembling the screw on the armchairs looks like if might poke out and one side of both chairs arms didn't sit flush with the chair. If I hadn't assembled, it myself I probably wouldn't have notice these issues but I did and knew it would drive me crazy everytime I looked at the chairs. So we are returning and getting another style chair - hopefully it won't have the same issue. Note as other reviewers have noted this are on the narrower size.

Comfort at its finest

We have 3 of the Chippendale arm chairs and 2 of the Polywood rockers. I can't say enough about the quality, style and value. Year after year, when I take them out of storage (Wisconsin winters!) they look brand new. I can't tell the difference from the 5 year old Chippendales and the new one I ordered this spring. Our guests comment on the exceptional comfort of the chairs.

Beautiful addition to our patio!

Love these chairs! They are comfortable, sturdy and elegant. Very, very easy to assemble. Simply attach the arms and you’re all set. They are a beautiful addition to my English cottage style patio. Originally ordered 6 of them to go around the Nautical Trestle dining table. We then realized we can fit 2 more! When they are not needed we use them in a separate sitting area nearby.

Great quality classic look

We bought the chippendale chairs + farmhouse dining table - absolutely love the way these came out. We live in an area where there is a lot of moisture, so wanted to get something that would last. It was very easy to put together - probably took my husband and I about 40 minutes to do 6 chairs and 1 table. I highly recommend any polywood product.

Black Chippendale Outdoor Chair

I love the chair, already had one. It's sturdy, attractive and very well made. When my old set (not Polywood) fell apart, I ordered a second chair to match. My patio furniture theme is all black & white. The patio table/chairs is white, and the 2 black chippendale chairs compliment the patio for a well balanced look.

Carefree Chairs

We already had Polywood rocking chairs so when it was time to replace our outdoor dining chairs, we switched from wood to Polywood for less maintenance. The chairs are lovely and even in white they are easy to clean. We do wish that they were a little bit wider. They seem so tiny compared to our old wooden chairs. Still happy with our purchase though.

Although this chair is a little narrow, it meets my needs exactly. It is heavy in a good way, and actually was easy to assemble. I am a small "older" woman and was able to complete the assembly myself. The arms were screwed in by hand, and was secured with a bolt underneath the seat. I am using it at my front door as a single accent chair.

Too small, uncomfortable

I really wanted to like these! Ordered this chair and another from polywood brand before committing to whole set. The gray color is a nice, dark grey. The chair itself shipped directly from the manufacturer - with 2 left arms. The seat itself (where you sit) is rather small - not particularly wide and not deep enough for my 6ft husband or myself, and it was not comfortable. Will go with a higher end recycled plastic brand built more to scale to normal adults if we go this direction.
