Grille mat good for your deck buy this one first not last

Perfect mat

The mat is perfect under the grill. I didn't want any grease or juices dropping onto my patio tiles and this is perfect. It also will be quick, easy cleanup.

This grill mat is tough and flexible and generously sized to protect the deck under my grill from greasy drips and spills. While listed at 47"x32", mine is actually 33" so a bit more protection. It would be straightforward to trim it you needed a but smaller sizing or have to work around any irregular shapes or obstacles. The pattern has enough texture to keep it from being too slick.

After buying a new grill it was time to find a good way to prevent grease stains that my old grill left on my deck. This grill mat is the perfect answer to the problem. It is thin enough not to be a trip hazard but not so thin that it curls and doesn't lay flat. The diamond print texture helps prevent slips if spills do happen. The large size makes it the right fit under most grills. The polyvinyl cleans easily and dries quickly. I expect this mat will last as long or longer than my grill.

On the positive side, I like the diamond tread design of this grill mat. I also like the fact that it is vinyl and can be easily washed (our old mat was a carpet material). It is a good size for our grille and was easy to roll out. However, on the negative side, the mat is fairly thin and tends to move and bunch up whenever we need to move the grill. Also, we noticed that the edges started to curl after only a couple of hours on our deck in the hot Georgia sun - see pictures.

The G-Floor Polyvinyl Gas Grill Mat has a nice diamond tread pattern, which lends a sort of industrial look to my grilling spot. This color is the slate grey, which goes well with my stainless steel grill. My grill rolls easily enough on the mat, but the raised portions would prevent the grill from rolling away on its own if it were on a sloped surface. There were no blemishes on my mat.

It’s very sturdy and will serve it’s purpose of protecting our concrete patio for stains and other marks.

Not impressed.

I bought 2 of them and am in the process of returning both. The edges curl up and will not lay flat, even after being warmed by the sun. I tried doing the same with the mats face down and the curls still won't go away. Big tripping hazard and looks bad to boot!

Very thin and cheap for the price. I thought that it would be thicker and more durable. A very big disappointment. It will keep that area of my deck clean but I'm not sure that it will last until next summer.
