Good afternoon. We bought these nightstands for our bedroom. When we opened the drawers, there was a very strong chemical smell from these bedside tables in the apartment. We collected them and put them in another room. The smell lingered for several days. We put them in the bedroom. But this smell choked us and did not let us sleep. We carried them back to another room. We went on vacation for 10 days. They returned and put the nightstands back in the bedroom. But the smell is still there. What should I do? I understand that I will not be able to sleep with such bedside tables. But I collected them. You can check and open the same box in the warehouse and you will smell this chemical smell. Thank you. Looks ok from afar but quality lacking

Simple white bedside table. These look good enough but the quality is lacking. The materials are not sturdy. We were using to stage a sample apt unit so didn’t bother to exchange but I was hoping for better quality.

Great Buy!

Easy to assemble by 1 person, nice top flip shelf and sliding bottom shelf. Everything looks great and works perfectly.

New nightstand

this is my second purchase of this item. It looks great, because of the neat finishing, and the features (shelf and drawer) are easy to use.

Dimensions

The dimensions dont match the actual product. I ordered this nightstand and cannot use it becase it is too big to fit the plce I ordered for.

Looks great but top drawer is not a drawer!

Just received my drawers and while the look is exactly what I wanted, THESE ARE NOT 2 DRAWERS! The bottom drawer pulls out, but the top pulls down (see picture). Won't work exactly how I wanted it to and none of the images on the site show this. Definitely a bit frustrating.

A nice piece. It was very easy to assemble and came with everything needed. Nothing was damaged. Took off a star for the scale relative to other furniture. Looks great in a kid’s room but would not recommend otherwise.

Lousy

This is the 1st time in 68 years I have ever written a review. So that alone tells you this review is not complimentary. This item was very lousy. The boards between the side and the top were not flush, leaving about 1/4 inch of space, and I couldn't push them together. I got a towel and hammer with the towel folded over itself several times. Then I tap, tap, tapped on the towel, hoping to get the boards to meet. No luck. So I kept tapping, increasing both the number of taps and the force. No luck. Finally, I got the boards to move and be flush. When I removed the towel I found the top surface had cracked.Then I found the side board on the other side of the unit had cracked. It had cracked outwards, meaning the hardware or attachment piece on the inside of the unit had pushed out that point on the board. I have no idea how this happened because I had no difficulty assembling this section of the unit.Upon completion I began putting stuff in the bottom drawer. I had opened the drawer no more than 5 times when the front face plate fell off. I used Gorilla Glue on the front part of the side boards, the hardware or attachment pieces and the area where the bottom of the drawer meets the face plate. I pushed things together as hard as I could and leaned weight against the face plate for 36 hours. Then I opened the drawer and I was happy to learn the face plate didn't fall off. Until I noticed the side boards weren't even close to the back of the face plate. I realized the only area holding the unit together here was the glue on the attachment pieces and the bottom of the drawer.Lousy. I should have purchased the fully assembled unit I found elsewhere. I believe I will. I want my money back.

I bought 2 of them to be placed alongside a platform bed. They look far more expensive than they were and are sturdy and hold a lot of items.

Six pieces purchased

I purchased one BLVD two night stand,two BLVD open-shelf versions, two BLVD storage bookcases--and later bought a second night stand-- as a simple storage solution for a small retail space. Overall, these items give a nice appearance and should fulfill their purpose. The parts/tools/instructions for assembly were all clearly described. In one case, it did seem wise to add wood glue to the nightstand to make sure the screws fit tightly. Of the 6 individual items, there are a few minor scuffs to the white exterior or corners--nothing very noticeable, and at the price paid, all quite acceptable. Improvement to the exterior shipment packing could remove this issue: 3 of the cardboard container boxes I received showed damage during shipment; one box arrived minus some of its contents. I note that this company's customer service was gracious when notified and they quickly sent a replacement for the missing hardware packet.

Wrong Item Description

This rating is not for the product itself as I didn't get to assemble it. The description says it's white lacquer but it is not; it is regular, dull engineered wood so beware if you're looking for a glossy finish. Hayneedle handled the return at no cost to me so 5 stars for their customer service.
