Smaller than expected but fits space. Not too bright.

Great light for a small space. Because it is LED the light glows differently which was an adjustment. Very bright considering the size. The perfect contemporary accent if you want it to blend in.

Upon receiving this light, I found that it was not at all what I had expected; but could see how I had "misread the picture". In the picture, to me, it looks like this light has a larger square "glass" plate connected to the base. It was not glass; it is some type of half shiny, possibly aluminum-mix, "very thin", semi-metalish material. I thought the second, smaller square glass plate was "frosted" glass. It is glass - but it is not frosted. It is white glass, and also cheesy looking. I thought the chrome fasteners attaching the 2 plates would be about 1 1/2" to maybe 2" long. It's been awhile since I immediately sent the light back; but I think the fasteners were only about 1" long. It was a VERY SMALL light. When ordering, I did not think to look at the online details to see the type of bulb to be used, but found that it would be a very small, "push in" kind of bulb that I think would light a lot of little glass beads, that were wired together. I don't know how much light it would actually give off; but I'm "guessing" it might be on the line of a "night-light" kind of wattage. This amount of light would have been fine for my use; but keep that in mind for what your needs may be. Although it would be used as a night-light, it would have been in a prominent place in my home; and it is not a good looking light. It would be good for a $* closet light; but definitely not worth $*, in my opinion. Less

LED Conversion

Purchased to replace a 200w halogen but forgot to compare lumens and suffered a dramatic reduction in light. My fault. The fixtures looks great but on of the circuit board was detached. It rests on the lense rather than being glued to the fixture plate. For the price it is a snazy look.
