Wanted a down light for our house numbers. This was very easy to install and we found some LED bulbs that cast a beautiful amber light.

Looking for a small light to shine in the front of our outside kitchen, this was perfect

its ok. it would be better if it came with exact size bulb. I hocked it up and it works fine.

Works nicely over the art work...not carried in the DIY stores...found it a bit pricey but met all our needs.

Does not play well with Lutron

Looks terrific...but does not function well with Lutron Maestro dimmers. I have tried two different Model 808's (one white, one black) in two different locations. The first turns itself off. The second one blinks intermittently. Not good...

Practical. Great for the price.

Works well

The light fixtures are nice aesthetically and work well, especially for the price. The bulb housing is vented on the rear to allow for heat dissipation, and the vents allow for light leakage on the ceiling behind the fixture. It's subtle but noticeable at night if they are the only lights on. The light is not an issue for us but keeps us from giving the fixture a 5-star rating.

Just what I wanted

Item came very promptly and was exactly what I expected. An instruction to pull off the open end ring would have been useful, because I could not figure out how to install the bulb through the smaller diameter opening. However, once I did that it was easy to install the track head on the track.

Great light at a good price

I replaced some very expensive Lightolier track lights with these, and added an LED bulb also. They work great, and installed no problem on the 7 yr old Lightolier track. I ordered my own LED lights and just bought the non LED version of this (the LED version is just the same one with a different bulb). They are much cooler temperature wise. The old halogens left burn marks on the ceiling. Also, make sure you buy the "warm" light LEDs - usually 2700k temperature. YLighting support answered my questions easily over email. Will buy these again, and from YLighting.
