this product is of superior quality and better than what you'll see in store - the only thing is our plumber recommended this piece as part of a shower stall renovation project - we are using a heavy shower curtain now but the threshold is not more than 2" high and water splashes out onto the floor, so buyers just be careful about that. we're now involved in doing the right thing - spending a few hundred more for a glass door - this will give us the modern and clean look we want and hopefully will minimize any water splashing out onto the floor!

Attractive & Functional

It is a very attractive product and brings the appearance of the bathroom up a notch, though time will tell if it holds up to regular use. Note that, even though the dimensions were listed as 32" x 32", it was actually 32 1/8" x 32 1/8": That 1/8" matters when fitting into an existing opening [I was able to make it work ;-) ]. Also, beware of the possibilities of fiber "splinters" on the back when installing it.

I love this shower base. I literally had to buy 4 different shower pans to find the one that would work. This size worked best for my tiny bathroom. Most of the standard sizes are 36" but saving those 4" in a tiny bathroom matters a lot. And the difference between having a square 36" or having a more narrow one that has a bit more length ended up making a big difference. I now have a pretty good size shower where there used to be a 32" triangular corner unit that didn't allow anyone the space to move around. Now I feel like the shower is more size inclusive which is important to me.

It was the only reasonably quickly buy and received from all resources I know. It is really nice and sturdy shower base, with beautiful shiny finish. It came in perfect condition thanks the perfect packaging protection. The only thing I wish was made more better is bottom of the shower base where drain squeezes the rubber seal (see picture with pencil mark), seat =flat surface for the rubber seal is not large enough and definitely consistent at width dimension. That's why one star was deducted.

Nothing is better than a Dreamline shower pan. This is the second one I've installed and they are really well made. Double boxed with styrofoam and tape everywhere and the resin is extremely thick. Blows away what Home Depot and Lowe's have. I highly recommend this brand.

This is a very mixed review. One one hand, I love the low-profile and clean lines of this shower pan. I saw some other brands that have a high lip on them. The front lip is just under 3". The reason for the low rating is that now that it has been installed (and cannot be removed at this point), it does not completely drain. No, it doesn't leave an amount of water that is like standing in a puddle. However, it leave little patches of water in various areas so when you take a shower the next day (for example), there is still water on the pan. You have to essentially squeegee the water towards the drain if you want to not have these puddles.
