Defective product (bad smell)

Bought the heater to keep my shed warm but it really smelled, not just while on but even when off. Even 2+ years after purchase it smelled. I emailed and spoke to the manufacturer, they said they would look into it but never did anything. Have just thrown the heater out.

Defective

The Amaze 1365 BTU electric wall heater was defective. There didn't appear to be any damge to packaging. However, after installing it took a while to heat up and then toxic fumes filled the room. Found it was split on the bottom sude of the ceramic plate, so and after it got hot, white smoke and horrid odor coming from edge seam on bottom. Smelled like electrical fire and the stink lingered.

So far so good, works great! I love the low profile, no wasted floor space.

horrible product horrible service

vermin poo everywhere inside box. thought that was source of smell, but entire product also stunk like a zoo. heating element does not heat across entire surface. cheap reflector arrived torn. customer service does not respond to inquiries. gave up after many weeks.

Easy to install; provides even heat…perfect for our bathroom!

Dont waste your $

This heater doesn't even put out much heat i had a small one that stopped working so i got this one because it was bigger and thought it would pit out more heat i was so wrong

Smell Issue resolved

Great purchase. I was skeptical looking at the reviews. After running the panel heater for 1 hour keeping the doors open the new product fragrance/smell was gone. I am happy with my purchased the dual is a very smart innovation

The odor

The heater seems fine. But the smell, which others have mentioned, is still present after a year. I don't know what it is, but it has a chemical odor and we have had to keep the room ventilated. So hard to know what to say about this product.

Amaze wall heater

I’ve had this heater for months! Every day I plug it in and try to burn off the rancid, toxic smell, to no avail! I would have sent it back but I threw away the box, DONT BUY IT

The Smell

I saw the reviews that there was a smell from these heaters that would dissipate in a few days. It’s nauseating. And doesnt seem to be getting any better

Very quiet. I painted it the same color as the wall , so it blends right in and takes up very little space.

Careful of senders

The product smelled of feces. Still seem the product was moist. Do shipment get inspected before coming to US?

Gave it 3 days in the garage to burn off smell

We read that if you wash the unit with some soap and then let it burn for three days the smell will go away and I did. We tried six different heaters for our babies nursery and everything would either get too hot or too cold. This heater keeps the room at a constant 70 all day long. We also bought the thermostat. Very satisfied. Bu, man! The initial smell of the heater was fierce

Thought this was wifi - it is not. My bad. You can buy a thermostat for it but we just leave it on all the time. Generates a decent amount of heat - but not too hot. We have it behind a screen and are not worried about it getting too hot. Some reviews say the 'barnyard' smell that emits from it initially will only last a couple of days but it was one week+

What a great product. Easy to install and works extremely well. They also look very nice on the wall. I would absolutely recommend these.

Easy to install, easy to operate, exactly what i wanted. I was worried about the smell, but it is not a problem. After 2-3 days of operation, the smell went away. The original smell reminded me of plaster.. so not terrible, but not great either. It has been running now for a few months. Works well.

Chemical smell was so horrible we took it off the wall and threw away. It aired out in the garage for a month prior to install and we ran it a lot of times hoping to air it out. (
