Love this sound/light machine! I

Love this sound/light machine! I honestly didn’t put much thought sound machine features so I have a few different brands. The nanit is by far our favorite! In fact we’re going to be buying a second one. We love that you can control it from your from. There’s a lot of ways to customize the light/brightness/sound/volume. You can easily add favorite combinations and change to whatever you need through the app on your phone instead of fumbling for bottoms in the dark. Love love love. Definitely the best!

Waste of money

This device is trash. It has more problems connecting to the internet than any device I’ve ever owned. We have wifi extenders and everything else in our home including the Nanit camera is on the wifi and doesn’t have connection problems. We were better off just getting a sound machine that doesn’t require wifi and an impossible set up. I’m putting my daughter down for a nap as we speak and can’t even use it because of the constant problems. Having a sound machine is the only way I can put her down without her hearing me leave the room and now I can’t even use it. It should atleast have controls on the actual device that allow you to manually turn the sound on but it only has one button on it.

We love our Sound + Light. It changed the game for our family -- our son now waits until the 7am green light to come into our room, so we all sleep better now!

An Essential Part of Our Bedtime Routine

As a parent managing two young children, the Nanit Sound and Light has become an essential part of our bedtime routine. This device not only acts as a soothing nightlight but also provides a variety of calming white noise and nature sounds that help settle both of my little ones at the end of a busy day. The adjustable light intensity is great—soft enough to comfort my newborn while not disturbing my toddler who shares the room.

We’ve used several different sound machines and this is by far our favorite. With the app that syncs up to the monitor… it’s just so easy and functional.

I really like this light/sound

I really like this light/sound machine, but for the price I’d expect it to last much longer. The speaker on ours died after just shy of 1 year (right after the manufacturers warranty expired). The light is on a shelf and is never handled so for the speaker to go out is just poor materials I think. The sound still works but has a horrible crackling sound like the speaker is blown. We have the Hatch also for the same price and after 5 years it’s still running strong. The Nanit light/sound machine is nice to have because it’s in the Nanit suite of products with all our son’s other monitoring items, but I would recommend the Hatch over this light to those who don’t use the Nanit monitor system. For those who do use Nanit, don’t expect a lot of life out of this purchase.

Looking for another product.

Would not recommend this product- will be looking for a new one. We have been using this for about 4 months and have had multiple problems. The clock won't dim and is too bright so we have to cover it up. A huge issue is that the machine ONLY works in wifi so it is difficult to use when not at home and sometimes we are unable to even connect to wifi in hotels, etc. The wifi often does not connect making it so that we cannot turn on or off at least twice a week. It sometimes changes on its own or turns off, and the white noise isn't always seamless; sometimes there are random noises within until I turn the whole system off and on. I am disappointed for the cost. I only gave two stars because it seems like a great idea and the light works fine, but would not recommend this product. I had hoped it would work great since we also have the nanit camera monitoring system and wanted everything to connect.

Should have at least a 12 hour battery to make it through the night.

Monitoring only on slow Wi-Fi

First connect to my 5g network, only the slower 2.5 and the monitor feature only works if you are on same Wi-Fi

I love the nanit sound

I love the nanit sound + light machine because of the customizable settings. We use a calm lullaby sound with dim lighting as we are doing our bedtime routine and then can easily switch to pink noise and a dim red light for sleep. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s needed to be reconnected to my wifi several times in the last few weeks for an unknown reason and the reconnection process has resulted in several error messages. Eventually I am able to reconnect, but I’m unable to determine why there are some hiccups. Otherwise, fantastic product!

Only works with a Nanit-approved

Only works with a Nanit-approved WiFi connection. Hard to connect to the internet. Poor battery.

Lovely little light for my baby

I enjoy being able to customize the lighting to my liking. It's easy to connect the light to my phone. On the first day when I received the light, my kids were surprised when they saw me turning the light off and on using my phone. It was hilarious to see their facial expressions, haha

Randomly stops

After using for 8 weeks. White noise just shut off in the middle of the night. Had to go into baby’s room to turn back on. Also, Not as loud as other competitors.

Great light, could use more sounds

This is an excellent product. It was easy to set up, looks attractive, and isn’t finnicky. I like the light combinations, but wish there were more sounds to choose from or that I could use my own sounds.

Love this product! Much easier

Love this product! Much easier to keep all the controls in one app like this. I have previously had a similar product but much prefer this one!

I love my camera it does everything it says it does. Very clear image

I love the Nani’s Sound and light machine. It’s the perfect clock and by using the app you can set alarm and light as well as sound. The sound effects are great and soothing. The color changes are so cool and everything can be controlled by app or buttons. I love it !
