Great value and quality
Each panel made to size, material washed well in cold water, needed a very light ironing after hanging to dry. Am very satisfied. Will order again if possible.. Supplies a light black out drape not full blackout.
NOT BLACKOUT!
I bought some 5 years ago and needed more so bought the same ones. You can see in the pic the new one is on the left and the old one on the right. The the drastic decrease in quality while doubling the price is stupid. Returning this garbage.
[Rewarded Review] Love these, just what I wanted!
These are just what I wanted. Dims the room when I want, keeps the room warmer, and simple and durable and yet attractive. I got a great price on quality merchandise!
Curtains are not Blackout
These curtains are not blackout like other curtains I've purchased. Aglow of light comes through even though I have have mini blinds as well.
I ordered the white since I have purchased this vendor before. Not only are they not black out, they aren't even room darkening. I like the curtain style and weight. It needed a liner of some sort. Unfortunately, I washed and hung them. Now that the time has changed (spring ahead), I will have to find something else.
It was poorly constructed, plastic like and was not at all as described on the website. The website said it could be tumble dried which was not the case on the actual label and it was not a fabric, it was plastic. It was ruined in the washer so I could not take it back. I'm out money my friends at Walmart!
Don't buy these curtains
These were so wrinkled out of the package and I have tried almost everything to smooth them out. Washed, ironed, and even the old fashioned way of dampening, rolling them up, and putting in plastic bag in the fridge, and ironed again. Shame on Walmart for selling these and the manufacturer for putting them in such small packages. Should charge somebody for the time I spent trying to get the wrinkles out. Real pain in the backside. I would not recommend these to anyone to buy.
just perfect
These drapes were fun to work with, and I am so pleased with the result. The photos fall short of the real color. Walls are painted "netsuke" which is a warm yellowish tan. The "ochre" color in the drapes is complementary. The brackets are common corbels, into which I drilled the channel with a "hole dozer" drill bit (while corbels were screwed down side-to-side on a 2X4, to get the hole centered). Each corbel hangs from one screw, so the fabric panel strip slides up under the corbel. Four panels are hung here. I have ordered two more, for fullness. Light comes through, but not enough to interfere with TV viewing. The living room is transformed. It glows. On the down side: it was a chore to use steam iron -- on the fabric side only, not on the backing -- to reduce the wrinkles. Still, 42-inch width was relatively easy to handle on the ironing board. When hung, no wrinkles show. (I am 71-yr-old woman, minimal skill with tools and ladders, but good with math for figuring how to place the corbels. Husband helped.)
Not worth a penny. Definitely not worth ur time
IDK what everyone’s talkin about, apparently people don’t realize black out curtains aren’t supposed to be hard like cardboard. Literally, the lines from where these were folded for packaging were plain as day. As I’m planing to return these, they could put these back out on the floor and sell them as brand spankin new, minus the packaging I already tossed. I’d recommend these to my former landlord and her gf. That’s it. Sarah Jones Melody Hiebert. Enemies. They got arrested for spying on their tenants. Inc me. Go figure. Oh I didn’t even think about pics, already took down the cardboard. I hate these. They look awful.
Great curtains!
These curtains are very well made and the price was the best I could find in what I was looking for. I ordered the color Smoke and it definitely wasn't as dark as the pictures provided on the site. With that being said, they still look great! These are definitely blackout curtains! I have five windows in my living room and if all are closed during the daytime I need to turn the light on. Now in the lighter colors I couldn't tell you. Also, these curtains are matte opposed to the shiny, satiny look of which I do not like. Definitely a great buy!
Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. Very thin. The "lining" was laminated on the back of an exceptionally thin material. The effect was that of a shower curtain, in thickness and feel. The curtains came crammed inside the packaging which pretty much guaranteed the creases would be near impossible to iron out. A couple hours of ironing later produced only mediocre results and revealed discoloration spots, about the size of a quarter all over. The tipping point came when I found a black stain on it. I decided to pay the return fee.
Beautiful
I was looking for some white curtains that weren't sheer. I came across these and wasn't sure because they were blackout curtains and I had never purchased them before. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. The material didn't feel like plastic and they hung beautifully. They gave my small room a lot of light, they brightened up the whole room. I would definitely buy theses again for another room.
Third set and still making me happy.
They do darken the room. I got the moss tone which looks like a darker sage and they look great with the sage chair and as stated they do block the light.I put my end part around the side of the rod and attached it to the rod support so no light come in the sides.
5 Stars
excellent curtains- color was very close to how it is on screen. I purchased them for my sons room. His room has full Florida sun for most of the day. His room used to get very hot. Window ac and central didn't cool his room with all the sun. These curtains block much more sunlight than the ones I was using. These curtains block 98 pct of sun and help the ac keep cool air in his room. Room by room I will be upgrading to these curtains. I highly recommend these especially if like me you are looking for something that blocks the heat and sun and keep cool air from being over heated.
No true blackout effect
Disappointed. I have two windows that each needed a pair of curtains. I put these up and still a lot of light was shining through. There are outside safety lights in our apartment complex that shine right into my two sets of windows, even though on two different walls. The light was shining through the whole window area, and I could not sleep. I bought these for the color and the blackout effect I thought they would have. Not only did the light shine through, the light was also shining up on the ceiling through the grommet holes. Gave 2 stars because I love the color but they have no blackout effect against lights outside. Returning this week, and ordering a different one that will hopefully work.
Love the curtains but not completely sun block out
When I got these curtains, I ordered 3 at first for 3 of my windows. I was surprised how nice they were. Loved the beige color. However, they are not block out curtains from the sun but they block out enough sun to keep room dark with color with a slight bit of transparency. Then I ordered 5 more for other windows. I noticed that only one of them matched my first order and the other 4 we're only slightly off in color but you can't really notice it until the sun is shining directly on them. This is why I rated 4 Stars. Still love them for the price of $7.00 each. Considering how many I needed the company did a decent job especially for the price. Also seems to keep the temp regulated better in my place. I believe it's because of the nice white backing on the other side.
I LOVE them - Definitely not blackout curtains
Pros:
Lovely curtains but have to go darker
Bought 2 panels in Moss. Color is beautiful but is not a blackout curtain. Dimmed maybe 50% of the light coming through. Will have to go with a darker color. If I didn't need them to block out heat, I would keep them.

These arrived right on time, but when I opened the package and started to take out one panel, they looked so hideous and “plastic”, I never even got them all the way out! Ordered navy blue, which they were, sort of. Cheap and shiny fabric, grommets looked like they were made out of aluminum soda cans; back side is black and could pass for a black garbage bag if you hung them in the window, which is sort of an insult to garbage bags. Maybe in another color they would be ok, but will never know. Home Depot woman at returns desk took them back quickly and efficiently - she shared my opinion about how they looked. Certainly heavy weight, they hit the return bin with a thud.
Blackout really means what it says
Have been searching for grommet top curtains for our bedroom for a while. Looked at most major online retailers but could not find a black curtain that wasn't a shiny material. I really wanted something with a "matte" finish. These are polyester but they do not have that slick shiny look.
