Unfortunately this rug sheds so much wool, I would not recommend it.

Lovely Wool Rug!

Beautiful, rich color. Love the feel of this rug underfoot. My first wool rug, and I love the lush nap and durability. It just oozes quality. Safavieh makes wool affordable. It's not just a rug. It's an investment.

Beautiful improvement

Rugs look great, seem to be of good quality. Thick and plush. Color and pattern matched the picture on line. Arrived quickly, well packaged.

Area Rug

Very high quality rug. I bought it as an area rug. The colors are as pictured and the size is true to it's description. I love how it sets the tone for the room.

This is a very pretty and well made rug. The colors are pleasant and look as they do in the pictures. It is a thick weave and I am using it without a rug pad.

Beautiful rug. High quality. Thick wool. Rolls out perfectly and lays flat. Excited to purchase the round rug to complement it.

Excellent, beautiful product.

I actually bought several of these rugs in various sizes. They complimented my decor perfectly. The rugs are nice and cushy, great for bare-footin' it. It is easy to keep clean with just vaccuming. The colors stay bright over many years' use. The rugs wear very well.

Nothing necessarily wrong with this rug, but there were two different colours pictured with just one colour to select. I thought from prior reviews I was ordering the lighter colour. Turned out to be the darker. Acknowledge it's my bad for ordering without being 100% clear. However, I'm not happy about having to return. The cost to do so would be *** unless I chose to receive the refund as an in-store credit. I didn't want to lose *** and purchase enough on Overstock it won't be a problem to spend *** credit at some point. Given the confusion created by the pictures vs. selection options, though, I'd prefer to have the refund back to my card. Would never have purchased if I'd known it was the darker colour.

Never purchase Safavieh

Terrible quality Sheds horribly Cannot stop the shedding Will never purchase another Safavieh. I am currently shopping to replace it. It sheds so badly that everything is filled with the wool fibers and makes my house filthy.

Both the area rug and the runner are thick and heavy. The color is as depicted on the web site. I gave it three stars for two reasons. First, it arrived with two deep wrinkles from being folded for shipment. The wrinkles do not appear to be flattening. But the bigger concern is the shedding. I realize wool rugs shed for several months but these rugs are getting worse daily. I read on line that hand-tufted rugs often have the wool drilled into the backing and that greatly reduces fiber strength. The drilled rugs tend to shed until the integrity is gone and the rug needs to be replaced. I really hope that doesn't happen to the Safavieh rugs I've purchased because, although I love the way they look, I cannot afford to replace the, every year or two.

This rug is (was) exactly what I wanted. A well made rug with a decent thickness. Very beautiful as an entry rug. Unfortunately, my dog ate a hole in it only after I had it two days. For real. I am considering buying another though.
