Wonderful rug

The rug is just beautiful. Very thick an nice to step on. The delivery was next day fast. The price was very affordable, I will definitely order again. I would like to say all wool rugs shed. So that's absolutely normal. Ive bought $*** wool rugs that shed just the same. So know that when picking out wool. I'm very happy with this rug. Thank you

Shedding Rugs

I love the design BUT! as soon as you walk on it the hairs come out I destroyed two vacuum cleaners. IT is absolutely the worse rug I ever bought. I decided to see if with time it would shop shedding but it continues to shed. I am a slave to this rug. The fact the overstock even continues to sell this garbage has made me discontinue shopping at overstock.

Loving my Safavieh rug

Love my Safavieh rug. I have a few. This one is in my master bedroom. Incredible quality and the rich colors! Can't get enough of these rugs.

Great Colorful and Thick Rug

Beautiful rug!. I purchased the orange and grey version and love it. Its thick but not shaggy and is heavy enough that it doesn't move around. It looks great in my room with all of my art and orange table. I've had for only a few days and have received multiple compliments. I also like that it didn't have the weird edge that sticks up creating a trip hazard that comes from being rolled up for shipping. I wish I'd purchased a larger size but thats on me.

This rug (I ordered the one with orange flowers) is unique which is precisely what I wanted. It's plush under foot, unlike some I've ordered online. I've received several compliments on it. I ordered it for a change of pace from more sedate furnishings.

One-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater!

So much fun! One-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater! This resides in my bedroom and will be putting a smile on my face waking up to it every morning. And by the way, I'm pushing 80.

She's a jewel!

This rug makes me happy! I ordered the 8X10 for my bedroom but it was much too busy. However, I loved it so much that I put it in my sitting room and it was perfect with my velvet jewel-toned furnishings. I thought it was a steal for a 100% NZ Wool with good color saturation and softness but it still sheds quite a bit even after several months. I'll take the shedding for a rug that just makes me smile!

Beautiful Rug

I was surprised how much this rug added to our kitchen. We have white cabinets with black countertops and a white tile floor. The teal and deep magenta colors, contrasted with black, gray and white, are just beautiful. It does shed a bit, but lessening after several vacuums.

You will not be disappointed

Beautiful, thick, colorful and attractive rug. We got the orange color which is perfect for the entryway. Adds so much style to any room. It does shed a lot which you would expect from a wool rug.

Color depicted is not Actual Color

The quality was as expected. It was nice and plush. The problem is the color. We ordered the Orange - and there is actually no orange on the rug. It is more of a muted terracotta - more like the last photo shown. There is no bright orange as depicted in some of the images. If you do not need the bright colors for your space, the rug quality seems good. But know that we did not use the rug - just rolled and unrolled so we did not have a chance to test out how it wears.

Safavieh Soho Hiltraud N.Z. Wool Rug Runner

We recently ordered the Safavieh Handmade Soho Hiltraud N.Z. Wool Rug in the size of the 2'6" x 8'. It was delivered to us in a very timely manner and, when we opened it all up, we were so happy with our choice of rug and the color that we picked out. LOVE! our new rug runner. It's beautiful! and is very nice quality.

High quality construction/great design, shows all

This is a very fun design: modern and a little bit of whimsy. Perfect to blend with our mix of classic and mid century furniture. It's a high quality of construction. The wool has a very tight pile, so the cat vomit sits on top and pulls right off. But with it being a solid design and a dark color, you see every spec, crumb, or pile of pet hair. Some shedding, consistent with med-high quality rugs. Really like it!

Beautiful Poppy Seed Rug

We love our rug. It has lasted for years now thru high traffic use. It did shed for the first year a ton but it was expected. We've received compliments on it as well with it's unique portrayal of poppy seeds. The hint of burnt orange goes well with our orange dining table.

Thick and nice looking. As others have noted, the colors are not as online - the orange is not vibrant and the gray is darker. The pink is about as seen. I've had trouble in the past with Safavieh rugs falling apart, so we'll see how this does. It seems more strongly bound than previous ones.

I'm mixed on this rug. Pros: the wool is thick, and it strikes you as a heavy, high quality rug. It feels great under your feet. The colors are unique, so I love the combinations. Cons: there are some light fibers that show through the black (and a few black fibers that show through the other colors). This makes the rug look dirty or like specs of debris on it...but it's only lighter fibers that made their way into the cut pile on top. On the good side, this issue became way less obvious over time. For the first three months, it looked not-great. After that, those fibers started to blend. I think it's because some of them were loose (even though they seemed firmly attached), and they vacuumed out over the year.

The gray is darker and the orange and pink is much more pale. It's got with a cute and modern print. I also bought it in 3X5. I noticed that after about two weeks I couldn't vacuum them clean. There would be little white pieces all over the rugs. At the end of two weeks I put on glasses and took a really good look. The large rug was coming apart at the end seam and had hard pieces of I'm guessing is glue through out parts of the rug. The white I was seeing was the underside of the rug actually coming through the weave of the rug. All the end seams were in bad shape. Since I bought three of them within a week of each other, I can't say I got a defective rug as they were all doing the same thing. As different as they are, I'd steer clear. They'll are packaged and ready for UPS pickup and return. So far Overstock was wonderful. Hopefully everything will go smooth.

I have already reviewed this with five stars... review again..LOVE. LOVE,LOVE this rug! There is really nothing like a GOOD WOOL rug.. it is rich and feels good underfoot. Yes, you will have to vacuum frequently, but we don't mind. The pattern of this piece is amazing. You will love it too!
