Great gazebo. This is our second sojag gazebo. The size and colour are perfect for our deck.
Sojag GENOVA 10' × 12' Sun Shelter
Easy to put together and looks stunning. A few incorrect pieces that we needed to modify, but they were minor. We bought one for our cottage in 2015 and it's still in great shape.
Great Gazebo
Awesome product. A few assembly hiccups but nothing serious. Works for what we want it for. See picture for the usage.
Extra room on your house
I’m very happy with the product it’s very well made just hope it holds up to the winter
[Rewarded Review] Great Product/Horrible Customer Service by Lowes
The Product is great other then some scratches it received during shipping. However, was extremely disappointed in the process of receiving this item the way that Lowes said it would be delivered. When purchased was to arrive on June 30th. Did not receive until July 10th. Called Customer Care and was told sorry its a 3rd party problem. Incorrect answer! If Lowes hires a 3rd party to deliver a product that they sell then Lowes should hold the 3rd party accountable to delivery when Lowes tells their customers it will be delivered. Used tracking # to follow the shipping process and the product sat still for 4 days and would have sat in the same place another 4 days had we not gone and picked it up ourselves because again Lowes said it was out of their control. Out of their control or not this made Lowes looking extremely bad in our eyes and we will not be purchasing anything from in the store or online from Lowes again because they obviously dont care about the customer once the product is paid for.
Update- Feb 2023. This gazebo does not hold up To snow Load. The edges fall
Keeping us cool in Arizona
After countless unsuccessful attempts to have a shade structure built by local contractors we decided to do the project ourselves. Local contractors either never called back or set a time to stop by but never show up, extremely frustrating. We decided on the 12x16 gazebo. We ordered online, scheduled a delivery date and had it dropped off a week and a half later without a problem. Our pool deck is slanted and had a difference of 2 inches for water drainage and we also had brick pavers so simply mounting the base plates as is wouldn't be acceptable. We had to use round concrete cement forms for a solid and level base (see picture). I made cardboard templates and laid out the roof frame for mockup. I took a million measurements and began removing pavers for the concrete tubes. Once the concrete cured I assembled the 16 foot sides first and with the help of my wife, erected the 2 long sides and held them in place with rope and cinder blocks. I didn't follow the instructions provided because it was only me building the structure, aside from the help standing the 2 sides up. If you have 2 or more helpers then I would follow the instructions. After the long sides were erected I attached the 2 shorter side beams. From there everything went pretty smooth and by the book. I had to get creative and stack a bunch of empty boxes in the center to support and assemble the roof portion. Leave all the screws loose until all roof pieces are in place and tighten afterwards. Using a long screwdriver and telescoping magnet helped with aligning and getting the screws set for the roof. Actual gazebo build time was 2.5 days and 99% done by 1 person. We live in Arizona and shade is necessary. I will say it does get a bit toasty due to the dark color but we have a pool and a portable evap cooler so no big deal. The gazebo was a bit wobbly before I secured it to the deck and concrete with 3 inch Tapcons. Once tightened down everything felt good and sturdy. As other reviews mentioned, the screws and bolts are cheap and some aren't even machined with a phillips or allen head. They look like little useless metal mushrooms, however they include extras so I never ran out of hardware. The holes for 1 of the diagonal corner braces is .5 inches off on the top. I double checked and ensured everything was plumb and level, and it was, so I just drilled 2 new holes and attached the brace. In my opinion, the metal is too thin, and the hardware is cheap so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. We have crazy thunderstorms (haboobs) out here and the gazebo handled the high winds pretty good. Use a ratcheting screwdriver and hand tools only, no power tools and you won't have any problems with broken or stripped bolts.
Nice looking and great size.
I love this Gezabo. It was a lot of work to put it together, but enjoyed that to.
Amazing Gazebo - Day & Ross (HORRIBLE shipping)
The Gazebo is amazing, I have a friend who has had the same one for over 10 years in the cold Canadian winters & it's still great.
12 x 16 Gazebo
Easy to follow instructions made for quick assembly time. I was able to assemble myself with no additional help but was a little awkward at times.
Poor design, disappointing manufacturer response.
The metal used on this is too flimsy and the screws ripped out through the metal on all of the posts and support brackets causing the gazebo to collapse. The manufacturer would not assist with anything as the warranty is only one year and does not cover wind or storm damage. If you are buying this I would highly recommend modifying all of the screw points to provide more reinforcement, as the manufacturer should have included in the design.

nice gazebo.
This gazebo arrived as describe. It took 2 of us 60+ yrs young appx. 6 hours from opening the boxes to completion. It is a very good looking gazebo. We have only had it up 1 week & are quite satisfied at this point. We did NOT find ANY of the issues in other reviews. Maybe we’re just lucky, but we are happy / satisfied with our purchase.
beautiful ...perfection n my yard
Installation is tedious and time consuming.
We hired a handyman to install it, as Lowes was unable to provide that service. He said the instructions were difficult to follow and the cement anchors were cheap and he had to purchase replacements. But he was able to finish in a day and a half, and it looks nice.
Love my gazebo.
All aluminum gazebo
This gazebo was easy to put up. Had all the materials and hardware. Solid structure. Sojag makes a very good product. It may seem like a lot of money but worth the price.
Looks great
Well made Gazebo!
This gazebo was very easy to put together. We had 4 people in the beginning to get the basic frame started to the posts; made it simpler to keep square. Life was easy from there on with just 2 of us. The directions, although very little wording it was well done. I inventoried in the beginning to ensure we have all parts and looked at each following the step by step to ensure I knew what I was looking at when time came to install that part. The Gazebo looks great and it very sturdy.
Great addition to our deck
We are thrilled with our new gazebo, however, the assembly instructions were hard to follow, even for our very experienced contractor.
