I love, love, love this fan. Quiet, powerful, and actually gorgeous (I hate ceiling fans—this one is a work of art! My client gets so many compliments!). Because this is only the motor, you'll have to look for pictures with the blades to see its' beauty. Comes with a remote. Does not come with the close-to-ceiling option (purchased separately).

Love this fan! So quiet, blends seamlessly into ceiling. We changed out a 20 year old ceiling fan with this one and it completely modernized the room. Definitely recommend!

Poor Design and Installation Instructions.

BEWARE! This fan has no reverse button on the remote so you must change direction manually at the base of fan. This is difficult when your fan is mounted 15 ft. up. If this isn't enough of a headache the switch on the base is not mounted securely so if when installing it and you do not confirm the opening of switch has not shifted and is no longer in the center of opening the reverse function will not work. I was told I could take the fan down and adjust the switch in opening and that should do it! Well by the time I pay for a 2nd installation I have essentially paid double for this fan not a good solution. Definitely not worth that price tag and the hassle just to have a fan that has "basic" reverse function. Don't do it!!!

Horrible customer service and website

I ordered the fans from this site because I could get a discount. It was difficult to place the order; the site wouldn't take my credit card; I couldn't get help personally. Finally, finally, there was one person who called me and made the transaction. Then, I got an email that some of my products were shipped or delivered to my contractor; I checked the website and it said only some had been delivered. I tried to get more info from the company, but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Even after waiting for word on my other products, I didn't get a second email, and the website still showed that not all of the products had been sent. I was trying to get it organized before leaving the country but couldn't get info or clarity. Finally, we realized that the whole shipment had been received. It was a waste of time. And it turns out that products can only be returned within 30 days of purchase, which had expired by the time I returned to the state. I just wanted to return extra drop rods I didn't need, but now I have extra bronze poles I don't need.

Modern ceiling fan

Good looking fan, installed pretty easily. There is a bit of a lag between the light switch and the fan light, but for the price, it's a nice, modern-looking fan. I would recommend this product.

Love it

Needed a new ceiling fan and everything about this fan fit my needs. Great you can customize, quiet, looks lovely, quality and the smallest remote I have ever seen. Two cons, to reverse the air flow, you need to move the switch at the top of the fan and directions could be more clear. That being said I would purchase again.

The Perfect Fan Design

This is a gorgeous, versatile fan. Being able to mix the blade finishes is a big plus. Looked literally forever for a fan that could somehow blend modern, industrial, minimalist, and tropical styles at the same time and well, this is it. I will say that my fan stopped responding to the remote that came in the box a few days after installation, and responses from Fanimation's tech support are very slow. Being that the heat has been particularly bad since the fan is installed, this is disappointing. I'm not taking off a star because I just love the look of the fan that much, but I really hope this issue will be fixed soon and doesn't become "a thing." Will update if so. (Apologies for the blurry photo, but again... the remote stopped working.)

This fan is worth every penny. I cannot stand the look of ceiling fans, and I find myself staring up at this one—I adore it. I have a white motor on a white celing and the light wood blades. It's like a floating wood sculpture up there. . . The fan is quiet. Has three speeds. The low speed is a soft breeze and the high moves a LOT of air without feeling like you're in a gale force. You won't regret paying a little more.

Fanmation Spitfire Ceiling Fan

Wonderful fan! We have had it operating in our home for about 1 month. It is VERY quiet! It’s style is perfect for casual yet contemporary spaces. This fan moves air really well in our great room and in our home office.

This is a really nice fan, quality finish, beautifully made. Matt white, simple but elegant three blade fan, does not stand out and blends really well into our living room.

This fan has a sleek design that Will fit in any decor. Because of electrical issues I had the fan installed professionally. My electrician confirmed its durability for use both inside and outside. He also said it would last a lifetime. The light is an added benefit that illuminates the room perfectly. Impressed by the look and the breeze it projects, I ordered one for my bedroom without the light. You will not regret regret this purchase.

This fan moves so much air! I was actually cold last night - in Houston - in August!!!! The blades are solid wood, the finishes are done well and it’s a solidly built machine. . I contacted Fanimatics regarding a questions I had about compatible wall controls before I purchased. I was blown away by the representative, decided against the wall control but that I liked the manufacturer and it sealed the deal. I purchased on Houzz but I had to call back after installation because my blades didn’t come with the center c ap cover, got the same rep- Jake. Again he went above and beyond and shipped me the cap I needed right away. It attaches with a magnet - so it was simple and quick. So impressed I’m replacing all my fans with these!

CFM is not as advertised, very slow moving fan

We love the style of this fan, but the CFM is advertised as 6641 on the specifications, but it is actually 3776 CFM. On the highest power, the blades move very slow and hardly push any air. I seriously doubt it is even 3776 CFM. I contacted Fanimation and they were of no help. They definitely designed this fan with form over function, but at nearly $500 with the special mounting hardware, it is NOT worth it. I've yet to receive the mounting hardware from the same order, so as soon as I do, I will likely be returning this to the store. Very disappointed in the quality of this fan, but if you just wanted something that looks nice and doesn't perform well, go for it!

This fan is very stylish and the pictures represent the product well. The blades are extremely lightweight, but are made from a wood composite material. The finish looks like authentic wood with lots of grain and natural variations in color. The motor finish is a deep shade of gray that coordinates well with the blades. I also purchased a matching 48" downrod to accommodate a very high vaulted ceiling. The motor and downrod appear to be well made and very sturdy. The fan is not installed yet as my new home is not completed, but looking forward to using it in my master bedroom!

THIS FAN IS A REAL “SPITFIRE”!

We definitely love this fan and have recommended to our friends. It was easy to install. I didn’t realize the blades were actually real wood. I never thought a fan wood change the feel of the room as much as the Spitfire. It’s absolutely silent when it’s on. The wireless remote control with the wall mount is a great feature.
