Carefully packaged plants

The plants were both a good size with numerous leafy branches. They were very healthy looking and hydrated. The package arrived before the estimated delivery date and was well packaged to protect the plants..

Nice plants

Received in great shape. Nice size considering I bought the smaller two pack. Larger than I anticipated. Haven’t planted yet so can’t speak to anything else about them.

No Flowers, Yellow/Dying, Bad Returns

Was disappointed when the plants arrived with zero flowers/buds, and leaves were covered in white powdery stuff (pests?). I treated it with organic pest spray and isolated it for a week, then planted outside in the FL sun in hopes it'd revive. That's strike one because, obviously, the Southern Living Plant Collection is a premium cost line so you're paying to avoid these issues and have quality plantable plants from day one. Strike two: a month later and no buds, leaves rapidly/increasingly becoming dull, yellow and falling off (despite plant food). But strike three - and why I will never order plants from Lowes again, is the hassle of returns. First: no online option to do so, so you have to call. Second: returning plants is just a pain. It's 2024. Why not allow customers to just submit a photo (at least those <$100 purchase customers who've never returned plants before). Third: The first agent was improperly trained and said I'd need to it bring FedEx yet said he couldn't tell me if I'd needed a box or a label, and to ask FedEx. Huh? So I called back (again, a pain). Thankfully, the awesome second agent promptly gave me the option of scheduling a pickup from my house (no box or label needed) - great! Bottom Line: if this hadn't been such a pain, and the flowers had been more mid-tier in price/brand, I may have rated three stars and considered future purchases. But for the price, way too frustrating of an experience to risk it. At a local nursery, comparable plants are 40% or less. Heck, Trader Joe's gardenia plants are WAY more beautiful/vibrant, are 30% less and they refund you without having to bring in the plant if they end up being a bust.

I ordered 3 of these plants several weeks ago they are all half dead now. I ordered another variety of gardenias at the same time and they are doing well.

better than pictured

I love gardenias but being from the West Midwest they're not as prominent moving to the South. I've been in love with them ever since. I have never found gardenias at this price and when they arrive they were so healthy and they have been blooming ever since. they are so worth the money. Lowe's will never let you down. highly recommend

When received, both plants were dried out with leaves shedding and plant roots exposed. So far, haven't been able to revive with watering.

Came late and the boxes for both plants were heavily damaged. Surprisingly, the plants sustained minor injuries. They were much smaller than I had expected based on the height and bushiness of the marketing photo. But overall the plants are healthy and doing well.

It looked beautiful when it arrived but after I planted it leaves turned yellow and dropped. So I'm not sure if it will rebound. I hope so.

The gardenia plant I received was in horrific shape. Trying to revive it….So far nothing happened since I potted the plants 3 weeks ago ?. Don’t trust the picture from the website.
