I had been looking for a console table for a new t.v. I am thrilled that I went with this table because the quality is amazing. My husband did have to finagle the screws and screw holes a bit in putting it together, but overall easy to put together. I stained my table and it turned out beautiful. I will definitely be purchasing more pieces.

It was perfect, My husband stained and polyurethane- it turned out beautiful. I would recommend this, outstanding workmanship, no problems with shipping , easy to assemble and it was the perfect size for my hallway entrance.

excellent table. made of rubberwood. butcher block pieced style top and bottom shelf. assembles well. painted with oil based black paint, 2 coats. looks great. STURDY! It now holds a 50 pound electronic vintage keyboard!

Great table for DIY Paint or Varnish

Love this table! It was very easy to put together. I stained with a light stain and varnished all the pieces before putting it together, then used more decorative knobs. It is a completely unfinished piece and will need at least a protective varnish, which is why the price is so good. I'm using mine in a store display.

Sturdy all wood construction, great look

This great looking console table fits perfectly in our living room. The construction is solid wood and is built to last. The natural wood gives plenty of options to stain, paint or let it patina naturally.

Sturdy, good quality. Had a few glue spots from manufacturing plant that did not take up stain, but I was able to sharpie them to blend it in with the finish. Overall, I recommend!

Very pleased

I'm very pleased with this console table. It was packed very nicely. It is good quality wood. The drawers came assembled. I haven't decided what color to stain it, frankly it is beautiful unfinished!

Surprisingly high quality...solid wood!

I usually don't write reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this table that I wanted to share. Given the comparatively low price and the fact that it came from Walmart, I was skeptical that it would be cheap quality or have a tacky veneer finish or something. But this is solid wood! It is unfinished, so my father-in-law recommended that we stain and/or seal it eventually to protect the surface. But even he said he was impressed at the quality as he was assembling it for us, and he is rather picky with these things. :)

This is a wonderful well built solid console at a reasonable price. For us it came handy as a temporary solution and it was relatively easy to assemble. The only slight difficulty was in attaching the leg. The Allen wrench had little clearance and it had to be turned by hand and it only could be turned in small increments. This would not keep us from buying this well built nice looking product.

Nice solid wood sofa table. Wanted this size with shelf in white and couldn't seem to find it. I paint a lot of furniture so it wasn't a problem to buy unfinished. I painted it white and gave a coat of clear wax to match my trim work in dining room. Switched out the knobs to gold. Drawers are shallow but deep and slide smoothly.

Easy to put together. Could be a one person job. Did a natural stain and looks great. Perfect size for sunroom orchids.

Exceptional quality

Aside from having to put a finish on it, this is a quality piece. Solid wood and made extremely well. If you've ever had to struggle to get a friggin screw in that didn't want to go in, you'll know what I mean. Everything went together very easily. Looks great. Heavy. Don't settle on the cheap MDF stuff. One piece of advice, make sure the legs are in the right locations as the shelf needs to connect to the holes in the legs, unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way, and unscrew and rescrew.

Nice farmhouse look and durable too

This is a nice looking and well-built console. I changed out the wood knobs for gold ones but otherwise, there's no need to paint or change the finish. The gray look is perfect for a beach or farmhouse style.

Great table with minor manufacturing problem.

Heavy duty table. Solid wood but has a butcher block look. Sanded very well for paint but will need a rough sand to stain. Only complaint is one of the drawers was not installed properly and doesn’t open fully. I will have to disassemble it partly to shave the cabinet down. Overall a good product.
