Hard to find furniture that is solid and well built. This one fits that need. Also came unfinished, so was able to finish it exactly to what we needed for the home.Easy to assemble.

Difficult to Finish

Love the table itself. Difficult to stain. Feels like there’s a coating of some sort on top, because stain was very blotchy despite sanding. Will have to paint over it since it looks so ratchet now.

This was so easy to put together. I added a dark stain on it and it is gorgeous.

This is a very nice table. Delivery was very quick and it was simple to put together- just screw 4 legs in. For the price the quality is very good. I plan to get new knobs for the drawers just to dress it up a little. Very satisfied and would recommend to anyone

This is the second International Concepts piece I've purchased from...

This is the second International Concepts piece I've purchased from Home Depot and I have been impressed with the quality of both, especially for the price - solid wood for the price of high pressure laminate and cheaper than veneer. The drawers and top come already assembled so you pretty much just bolt on the legs and attach the shelf. The wood takes stain well and has properties similar to maple in terms of grain and hardness. I put two coats of stain and two coats of poly (used 3 coats of poly on the coffee table) and it came out looking like a store bought finished piece. Pro tip: put at least one coat of stain on before you assemble it. That way you don't get the light spots at the joints or runs in the stain trying to eliminate them. Using a finishing grade sandpaper between coats of stain and fine steel wool between coats of poly will get rid of any bubbles or rough spots from deeper grain. Just take your time and follow the directions on the product when finishing and you will end up with a beautiful and sturdy piece. I have had my 55" TV sitting on the with Xbox, cable box and record player on the bottom shelf. There has been no bowing and no stability issues. If you're on the fence, buy this. You won't be disappointed. Less

Very well made table

I still have the table in parts, as we are moving in about six weeks. I did not expect the table to have the weight it does, and to be so well made. I am impressed. I'm going to stain it oak and finish with urethane. I'd buy this table again, all day long.

Great Table

What a great table. Most of the table was put together already. Very sturdy, a little heavy. This is made of real wood not that fack stuff. No dents in the wood .It came well packed. Ready to be finished.

Great table but had to work around a warped leg

I really like this console table. We stained it and are using it to hold our stereo and speakers with records underneath. It's sturdy, solid wood. But one of the legs was a little warped. It's not noticeable, but it made it difficult to attach the bottom piece. I worry a little about how much weight the bottom piece can handle because it's not flush at all with the legs. There is a gap of at least 1/4 inch between the piece and each leg. It's not very noticeable at least. Otherwise, this table was fairly easy to put together.

This is the second one I’ve ordered. This fits any decorating style depending on how you finish it. The first one I did a grey stain finish and changed hardware…looks like Pottery Barn. This one I plan on lacquering, with funky gold hardware. Very sturdy, real wood, great price!!!!

It is too wood

And exceeded all my expectations. "Parawood" is still wood; it is not engineered. This is a very well made table and the wood is quite handsome.
