Essential beach cover!

The product did the job well- took it over to Rottnest island to help provide shade over numerous beach visits over the course of a day. Was able to carry it comfortably while riding a bike, and putting up / taking down was very quick and easy. With the sand screw it feels firm in place in the shelter configuration, and stood up well to the wind. I didn’t try using as a conventional sun umbrella but I think it would be just as good.

Good sun protection, may not last the longest.

Pretty easy to put up and pack down, and casts a nice deep shade that feels equivalent to being under a good tree- have spent hours on beaches I couldn’t have been on at all without it. Structurally it’s held up fine on some pretty windy beaches, but the fabric has a few small tears after just a few uses, so I am a bit concerned about its longevity.

Sturdy and works well!

Great bit of kit for the beach! Worked well and is sturdy as can be. It could be better possibly with another additional vent possibly in the middle (or bigger vents on sides) to allow for strong gusts of wind to blow through. Also, additional pouches on the sides and back (apart from the 2 pockets) to fill up with sand to weigh it down further would be a great! Apart from that it is great for the beach!

It's good also for windy conditions

Good in windy conditions tested in 25-27knots and passed the test without issues. Quite easy and fast to setup. The anchorage pegs are not really good for sand so I had to go get new ones from Bunnings / plastic type 300mm deep and 200 mm deep screw pegs. Paid $69 for it as it was on sale, I think that was a fair price for what it is. Happy with the product so far as it can be used in windy conditions which was my target. I would recommend the product to a friends for sure.
