works as expected as far as rejecting squirrels but refilling is inconvient will look for a similar model with a totally removeable top

Squirrel climbs down hanging part and holds on to screen and eats. Need to get another guard for it.

No squirrels

So far, so good, but it has only been a couple days since I put this up. The birds fly to it, and are enjoying it.

We have an older one that the big birds run the little ones off from. Bought a new one and set it for the little guys and love it. We are enjoying both feeders and all the birds. Thanks

The feeder is easy to fill. After 5 days the squirrels have not figured it out. I have hope.

Excellent Product!

We were so excited to receive this Squirrel Buster Bird Feeder since we are overrun with squirrels:) The birds were having a great time for two days until a hungry black bear decided to take the feeder...never to be seen again! This is the second squirrel buster bird feeder we lost to the bears:(

I'm glad to be able to feed the birds without the squirrels stealing all their food.

Curse for squirrels

The feeder had been just what needed to deter squirrels. They can't get into it! The size could be bigger but it's easy to fill and I would definitely recommend.

Finally a squirrel free bird feeder. This is the real thing and will be purchasing more

Quick response ,good product

Happy as a lark

Our little bird friends like this feeder. They don't have to compete with the squirrels and we set this one up for them and kept our other one for the squirrels. We enjoy watching the birds come and go and their food is there ready when they arrive unlike with the other feeder.

Truly Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder

So far, so good. Have used it for at least two weeks and the squirrels can not get into it. Very easy to fill and use. You must read their instructions which probably would have helped me with other bird feeders. It must be hung at least 18" away from where a squirrel could jump from.

Don't bother.

I filled this feeder yesterday and it's empty today. Almost all of the food has fallen out and is on the ground. I have another feeder that I filled 4 days ago that is still half full, with the same food, and the birds are enjoying it and I get to enjoy watching the birds. That's what I wanted. I'm going to take this feeder down. If I wanted a bunch of birdseed on the ground I can dump a cup on the ground and don't need a feeder for that.

Great feeder and squirrels get “leftovers”

I love it! The squirrels sit under the feeder and get what the birds do not eat! Very easy to fill and have enjoyed watching multiple birds come by and enjoy!

Danged thing works!

We love squirrels, but after almost 40 years of bird feeding, they finally took over our feeding stations this year. We tried all the tricks and none worked. We heard about Brome feeders and bought a Mini. Just like that, the squirrels were back on the ground eating seed rather than eating all the seed out of our feeders. We bought the Legacy and 2 others, and they are indeed squirrel PROOF, not just resistant. Now the birds get the feeders again and the furry critters can eat seeds and nuts on the ground. Everyone wins. Thank you Brome!

An advantage in the battle with squirrels

The squirrels can't get the food from the feeder but the birds love it. In the last 3 days I've only seen 2 squirrels on my deck. They try to jump from the railing to the pole but the Slinkys I've hung have defeated them almost every time. The few times a squirrel made it round the Slinkys the feeding ports closed when they tried to get on the feeder. All in all the feeder and the pole were a great buy.

Should have bought the big one

The birds give it a five+. does not waste food and easy to fill on a flat surface. Has become so popular, I am filling it almost every day. So if I were doing it over, I would choose the larger unit. Otherwise Great Choice
