The extra length allowed the exhaust to reach to the attic above the vaulted ceiling. Thank goodness because the extension came with a dent at the bottom that the installer had to cut out.

Check item before buying!!!

I purchased one back in May 2024, when it was time to install by a contractor, it was damaged on the corners. Ordered another one to replace it, that too was damaged. Just ordered another one today. Let's see how that one comes out. Review to follow later.

I just ordered my 3rd duct free flue extension because the first 2 were damaged upon arrival.

A must have if your ceiling is more than 8 feet high. Color is perfect blend and looks like all one piece.

My contractor didn’t need to use the full extension but one part of it, replacing the one the hood came with , he said it was easy to fit and i’m happy with the end result, shame about all the unused product though, seems wasteful.

Was not correct depth as advertised

The chimney didn’t not fit into the range hood slots as it should have. Leafy space at attachment point. Poor engineering Winflo !

The measurements given in the description were incorrect. They are actually 1/4" less in two dimensions. We had to modify it to make it fit.

Perfect extension for our tall ceilings.

I ended up having to use this with another manufacturers hood and I was nervous about the color match but it was right on. My space looks awesome. Installation was pretty decent.

Exactly as described. Extremely fast shipping. Our builder needed it ASAP and Wayfair made it happen.
