I was expecting a rubberized coated basket, but it's stainless steel so maybe it will hold up better although sometimes this kind of Steel rusts and is hard to remove, so we'll see

The quality of the basket is superior to anything over the counter from your local kitchen store for sure! Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is that they didn’t cut out a hole for the garbage disposal on this side. Somewhat inconvenient to have to take basket out of sink.

I have had two of the baskets that were white...

I have had two of the baskets that were white coated style and this is by far the best option. Over time the others got nicks and cuts in them and then started to rust and just didn't look clean. The stainless option is much nicer.

Would rather have a coated basket

I guess I'm the only one on here who really like the coated basket. My old one lasted 25 years. Wish we could have a choice - I'd rather replace the coated one regularly than have the steel. Please bring it back!

Too expensive for this product. The other brand I found for the other side of sink has bumpers to protect the sides of the sink from scratching. This one has white feet which shows gunk easily. I like the other one better as it has black feet and bumpers. I really hope this one lasts forever considering the costs.

Replaced same but instead of stainless, I originally bought biscuit to match sink. The coating on sink side was easily damaged with tossing knives, etc into sink after use and the cuts would rust and though the rinse side had no issue, I had to replace both to match. It was expensive but I'm much happier now that there's nothing to damage and it looks great!
