Perfect Kitchen drain by walls to wash the floor

While designing new house our goal was easy clean with modern look. After inspecting cheaper products we purchased Oatey, while original plastic feet were upgraded to metal. Home foundation is new build with dual temp faucet mounted low on wall to wash floors, like old France, in our kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, entry hall from back yard.

We were hoping to use the tile feature, but it was too difficult for the tile installers to but the tile that we ordered in the tray to have a seamless look. We returned the product and order the grated verision of the same product and were satisfied.

Minimal and Elegant

This is an elegant drain (if there is such a thing). It's minimal and subtle, which is what I was looking for. Being able to install a strip of the shower floor tile into it further minimized it. Highly recommend.

Here is a perfect example of a beautifully made quality product that may simply lose out to an abundance of highly competitively priced, similarly designed likenesses that are available in the marketplace. Although this item is quality construction, the price difference between this Oatey Designline to VERY similar items available elsewhere is significant!! Unfortunately I simply don't see where there is a significant enough difference to compel me to recommend this item over a competitor. It's definitely a good product and if you feel that you have to pay for that then consider yourself informed, hence the rating.
