Great cage

Yes, the cage is fantastic for the “escape artist”. It took me a Long time to find these secure dish and front door locks. Thank you. I am praying that you will carry a Dometop soon? This cage is a bit snug fo most parrots. It really needs a little more room. Thank you

[Rewarded Review] Stainless steel birdcage from prevue

Cage was reasonably priced and my bird loves it. Slightly hard to clean depending on where your bird hangs out at and goes poo. Small dent in one of pans upon arrival but would still buy again. I currently have 3 of this cage and will be purchasing 1 more to have all my birds switched over to stainless steel cages.

nice ss cage

I was looking for a stainless steel bird cage for my blue front amazon. She had a bigger aluminum one but wanted something smaller as she only uses her cage to sleep. Playtop was a must!. Nice cage, secure with nice locking mechanisms, no plastic parts including bowls. ONLY issue is no seed guard (for me, its a poo guard). I never noticed until it was all put together and doubled checked the box and then looked it up online and sure enough, no side guards! WHY NOT? My bird lives outside of her cage and poos off the side of her cage so now it lands on the floor (yuck). Only complaint. Would be too small for all day living for an amazon or similar sized bird. Easy to assemble and looks good and sturdy. Price is best I found too. Ship to store for free shopping and guys loaded for me!

Needs some sort of seed catcher. My bird just comes down and walks around the house now. Construction was not that easy

This cage is beautiful. Everything I needed (except a screw driver) was included. I put it together on my own but it would have been easier and faster with a second person helping. So easy to clean, but I've only had it for two weeks so only time will tell how durable and rust resistant it is.

Beautiful cage, but I tell you not one person would be able to put together by themselves. Box smelled of mold so had to empty an set outside. I was kept informed when it would arrive an really it was a great experience !!

Excellent cage

I just purchased this cage and it is excellent. Well made and nice and roomy. I LOVE this stainless steel Prevue cage. Well done Prevue for making such a nice affordable stainless cage. The steel is not heavy heavy like some stainless cages. I can wheel it on my own. It does not have a seed catcher but i line the bottom of the cage so most food stays IN the cage. I also clip some nice parrot fabric where i put the water dish so when my bird baths, the fabric stops and absorbs the water from going all over my walls, windows and floors. Great cage. Highly recommend. It has double safety locks too.

We’ve had this cage a month now and I’m still very impressed with it, I seldom write reviews but this cage was worth the time. The price at Tractor Supply was excellent and the shipping was quick for such a large item; the cage was delivered within a week from ordering. When assembling, I was blown away at the quality and especially shocked about how nice the wheels are; they are basically clear roller blade wheels. We could potentially dance with this cage on our hardwood floors, because it glides around with such ease (there are excellent wheel locks if you want the cage to stay put too). It took me 2 hours to put together by myself, not because it’s difficult but because it is well constructed...plus I confused the way the top ladders attach and had to redo (I don’t read instructions). The cage is a nice size and our bird loves his cage. It took him a couple of days to adjust to the feel of the metal perches, but he is fine with them now. I used to manage big box pet retail stores and have assembled countless cages in the past 20+ years, this cage is by far the nicest I’ve ever built. I’m very pleased with my purchase and have already recommended this cage to a friend who is getting a bird.
