Igniter does not work.
Perfect
[Rewarded Review] Heater with little heat
Very little heat. Will be returning.
Didn’t emit any heat really
Out of box Failure
What more to say. After careful assembly, gas would not flow. Instructions have many complicated things to try if it was compromised in shipping. The materials are cheap and this is junk.
So far so good. The directions are easy to follow and the heat is fine. It’s not super powered but it works. I e only used it for about half an hour, but have a feeling the 1 lb tanks won’t last long- I may look into some kind of connector for a larger exterior tank if that’s possible! The first ignite- it’s important to follow the directions included, I almost thought it wasn’t going to work, but they mean it when the say to “wait” a minute! Also, don’t put it on a glass table, it leaves little scratches.
Is perfect!
I bought two heaters from Home Depot. They were challenging to put together. Once together, one works perfectly and the other one does not stay lit. Unfortunately they were put together the night of my party, February 24 and the trash went out the next day, so I no longer have the box nor, I’m sure home Depot would take the return because it was used or attempted to be used at my birthday party. So I bought two and got one heater.
Love it
[Rewarded Review] Great For The Right Application
The heater looks and feels better than I thought it would. It's perfect for a small, somewhat enclosed patio. I tried it on my open deck, and it didn't do much since the heat just escapes. So, for me, it's more of an expensive way to warm my hands than a real solution for cold days outside.
[Rewarded Review] Love this product
This heater though it may be small it can really heat a room. I use it to keep my feral cat warm in my patio room and it works great with ease of lighting with push button ignitor. The tilting propane valve us a very nice feature as you can see the threads when connecting either a camping bottle or a propane conversion hose to run larger grill bottles. I get 4 hours roughly on a camping bottle and I get roughly 4 days on a grill bottle
Defective product. Needs Quality Control
For all the effort I took to put it together, just to have the propane canister not seat in correctly due to apparent bad threading from the manufacturer during production, the product was sure a disappointment. The same propane canister was successfully and easily screwed in to another propane heater from another manufacturer.
[Rewarded Review] Good for adding a little extra heat
Easy to transport. Good for tabletop. Puts out fair amount of heat and we used it on a buffet table outdoors on a cold day. Description says it provides 15’ of heat, but keep in mind that the heat wont necessarily permeate that far on colder days.
[Rewarded Review] Good for a tabletop
This is a good small heater if you don't want to struggle moving around the normal ones. It does its job of keeping you warm. It's lightweight to carry around and sturdy that it remains in its place. Building it is easy as long as you follownthe instruction manual. There are some knots and bolts that are difficult to tighten, but its doable. The knob on the door becomes a little difficult to close for me, but I have arthritis in my hands so that could be it.
Smaller footprint is what we wanted
We needed something with a small footprint that works on a short wooden table on our screened in porch between the L-shaped couch. We did not want something large because we had no place to store/put it when not in use. Knowing that a large unit with 20lb tank lasts longer and throw out the heat well, we still needed the smaller footprint unit. It does put out heat reflected off the dome to about 3 feet away. The small propane bottles last about 1-1/2 hours on full and approx. 2 or 2-1/2 hours on lower output setting (mid-low). It does what we need it to.
Small but Good
I used this heater at my outside grill area and the temp was about 47. There was also a good amount of wind. This little heater puts out a great amount of heat. I was really impressed.
Works great but the top is smaller than expected doesn't allow the heat to be felt around the table as much
1 Star
These are awful!! Negative stars needed here! We ordered 4 for winter events and can't use ANY of them! Only 2 will light, with tons of effort and the other 2 require manual exterior lighting assistance, such as a BBQ lighter! Every.single.unit is missing parts!! They are JUNK!! Now we are stuck with expensive, non-working heaters; more like giant paper weights. Save your money. I honestly don't see how there are positive reviews, unless they were bought!!! Walk away!
Had problems, but....
I bought two last year. Thank goodness I bought the replacement insurance. They both stopped lighting about a month apart. At times they were difficult to light from day 1. However, Tractor Supply replaced both of them. The newer ones light so, so easily. I believe improvements were done.
Love it
