These have been up for a while and do not corrode. It is a flexible kit and you can set it up in different ways. The screws are small and a little soft so be careful. Pre-drill.

Great kit for the shade sail. If you buy this at say home depot it well end up costing more. Uncoated straight cable is about 36 cents a foot. It also provides multiple ways to connect, which ever might be suited to a particular application.
Great cables, right length, easy to install
Provided necessary support for my shade sail to prevent sagging in the middle. Not a usual installation/use, but they served my purposes perfectly.

The Colout Tree Top-Notch hardware for attaching and anchoring a sun shade sail canopy is perfect for what we need to install our new sunshade over our pergola. We've tried bungee cords and rope with minimal success so this anchoring system really fits the bill. It comes complete with two ratchet winches and cables; wall anchor, winch wrench and enough screws for the install. I definitely recommend this as the perfect way to install and anchor a sun shade.
