If used on a firmer bed, it with the 2 height pads is enough for me to just use it alone, it is nicer than having to use 2 pillows, though it is quite heavy for a pillow, I have enjoyed it so far.

This is the coldest pillow I’ve found. I love it! It holds your head up but is still soft %26 when I sleep on my side, it doesn’t suffocate me. I would definitely recommend it.
