Our daughter is transitioning from nighttime diapers and this has been a life saver. You can't even tell it's on the bed...unless of course the sheets get wet and the mattress is completely dry. Don't overthink it. Just buy it. My husband wanted something cheaper from Amazon, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts to get this one. It was worth it for the quality and peace of mind on every level.

They sent me a used one with stains.

I bought this two months ago so I’m likely out of the exchange window, but I finally opened it for my mattress that just arrived and found that it has a stain that looks like makeup or something. It’s clearly used, but I paid full price for a new one and feel taken advantage of. It was 2am and I had nowhere else to sleep since I just moved, so I just used it, didn’t really have any other options. It’s a nice protector otherwise, it’s just really disappointing that they chose to send me a used one.

Not Waterproof!

I have enjoyed having this for peace of mind. We’ve never had pee or water on the protector until now. Our son peed on our bed and it went through our blanket, sheets, mattress protector, and onto our mattress Topper. I was kinda shocked. “Wasn’t this supposed to be waterproof? It’s bizarre. It feels kinda plastic-y. How is it not waterproof?? Anyway, it’s soft and comfortable and for that I’m giving it an extra star. But it’s kinda worthless if it doesn’t even protect against a little bit of liquid. Save your $80 and buy one that’s actually waterproof. We are out of the warranty period; but I don’t see how it would matter. It simply isn’t waterproof.

Was initially worried about the noise from the side panels but washed it and made the bed for a guest. After a week she didn’t even remember the mattress protector was on the bed when I asked her about it. No moving or shifting and no noise.

I like being able to depend on the quality of a company’s products. My experience with Tuft & Needle mattresses and mattress toppers have been great. I decided when it was time to replace the mattress protector that I would go with Tuft & Needle. I’m very happy with the quality out of the package.

This is nothing like the mattress protectors people had as a kid!

We needed a mattress protector because our dog is on a medication that caused him to start having small accidents sometimes and we didn't want it to ruin our Tuft & Needle mattress. I remember as a kid the mattress protectors were AWFUL and I would always rip them off of beds in rental units as soon as I got there. They were loud and hot and quite literally were made out of a sheet of plastic. I knew we needed something better than that so I decided to check out the Tuft & Needle site thinking they might list some recommendations but turns out they actually sold exactly what we needed and it was a fantastic price with the sale that was going on! I saw the raving reviews and full sent and haven't looked back since. I can't even tell this mattress protector is waterproof by looking at it and feeling it, and it doesn't even seem to exist when I'm sleeping on it at night along with my partner and our dog in the bed. But I can sure tell it's there when I see the little dark spot indicating someone had an accident at night and I strip the sheets to see a completely protected mattress underneath! Now I'm wondering how I ever slept on this nice mattress without any protection before - I mean, anything can spill and even sweat/drool could soak through sheets to the mattress if there's enough. I'm never leaving this mattress unprotected now that I know this protector is such a nice addition to our bedding.

Good quality and just what I needed. It makes a bit of the 'diaper sound' but it's so faint that it's barely noticeable.

It’s hot

It’s HOT. We used another mattress protector on our old T&N mattress and our mattress wasn’t hot at all. This protector is thick and doesn’t breathe well. It’s not plasticky or crinkly which is nice but it doesn’t breathe so we wake up sweating every morning.
