Dont buy!

Save yourself from hours of frustration. This is a nightmare to put together. I have both a screwdriver and an electric drill and they are no help when the screw doesn’t fit the part correctly.

So far good . Was a pain to put together

It was a pain to put together but thankfully my son helped me . But I love the wood coloring . Now I just got it done I’m hoping it doesn’t stain or anything

Not bad

As others stated instructions have you jumping around a bit but not terrible. Tips: dont use a powered screwdriver unless it one of those tiny old school ones. Might be next to impossible with a regular screwdriver. I used one and the z shaped one for finishing screws to tight. Some glue on dowels might help. The drilled holes are a wee bit larger than i would like. Overall if you go easy and tighten round robin you will be ok. Towards then end of build you may have to lift top a bit to fasten black angles brackets. If you buy and start build all this will make sense. Be careful the first 20 times or so opening it will be tough. For the price and remember time is money its a decent deal. Foes look good but not a show piece.

I has also looked on Amazon and the lift top coffee tables cost more and didn't look as nice.

Pay attention or the reviews

The instructions should be improved (both writing and pictures). The life mechanism is hard to lift and put back down so keep that in mind if you’re getting this for the additional storage. It’s easy to strip the “wood”. And when the top isn’t lifted there’s a small gap on one side and it hangs over on the other side…idk how to explain it but I’ll post pictures.

Worst coffee table

If I could give it zero stars I would. Horrible to put together. The screws provided are too short to hold the pieces together. The metal screws won’t line up and it’s impossible to get them in straight. Which means those pieces won’t stay together. The lift mechanism doesn’t move easily at all. I got through putting it together and it was wobbly and clearly not going to last. Disassembled it and returned it. Don’t waste your time.

Love it!

Great table for the price - much cheaper than others stores are selling it. I assembled it while my husband was out of town and only needed someone else to help on one step so it’s really manageable to put together! I am also impressed the color was represented very well on the website so it looks exactly as I was hoping. I love it!

Assembly needs patience

2.5 hours following each step. If you skip the instructions you WILL miss important steps.

Not worth the trouble.

I am not a novice at assembling furniture, but this coffee table conquered me. It is heavy, the lift assembly is almost impossible to operate, the screws that were sent to assemble the product look more like thumbtacks, and the fake wood finish is basically paper. I was ready to trash the partly assembled coffee when a neighbor dropped by and offered his help. He is a mechanic by trade. After three hours (and purchasing usable screws) the coffee table was finally assembled. The top is uneven, and it is almost impossible to lift. Enough said? Oh, yes. Two weeks after I received my order, it went on sale for $20 less - still not worth it.

This is a very good quality table, heavy and sturdy. I am 76 year senior women and I assembled the table myself, the instructions are excellent. It’s very versatile and the storage is great. The grain matches my tv stand, ?

Horrible design.

This was the worst thing I think I've ever purchased. We got the table assembled aside from the very last step. We went to flip the top over to attach it, after having attached the springs to the table top and the spring ripped right apart from the table top....completely beyond repair. Although the exterior looks great the inside is cheap particle board. Save your money and get a different table.

Instructions suck

The instructions for putting this beast together sucked. The lift up top has been attached but stays up. Not sure what we did wrong. It also took 3 hours to assemble. Absolutely horrible, I do not recommend.
