Not great

Top had a very large scratch on the deck - staight out of the box. had a few additional small scratches. The edge was worn and missing some finish. disappointed for sure.

Nice, but may have QC issues

Overall a nice side table, but there are a few imperfections. One, they definitely could have done a better job with polishing the granite. It has a dullish finish (compared to my countertops), and there are a few hairline scratches. Overall this was not worth sending back for, but something worth noting. The gold finish is also more of a matte finish than gloss, but not a deal breaker for me. Also the sides of the granite slab were not polished at all... this could be easily forgiven if the top of it was executed well. Overall good looking table for the price, but it could have been better given the nice granite top. The finish and scratches were a bit of a let down for me.

The picture is very deceiving. The base is not a shiny brass. In person, it looks like it is painted a brownish gold. I returned it because of the color of the base. Otherwise, it is a very sturdy table with a nice black granite top.

Not polished brass like pic and granite tops are not consistently the same. Granite was, cloudy, unpolished, polished between the 3 and slightly damaged.

Ordered 3 of these and one was fine but wasn’t polished brass as it looks in the picture. One of the granite tops had like a weird cloudiness to it that didn’t wipe off. Thus ordered a 3rd one and that showed up with a polished granite top were the other ones looked unpolished. Otherwise sturdy little side table. Returning all 3 since I needed 2 for a condo common space.

beautiful piece

this table came in pretty quickly without a dent or scratch. I was very happy with my purchase. The bottom stand does not look very brassy and shiny, which i was happy about.The table was packaged very well.The granite is perfect, no need to think of putting on coasters. and easy to clean.

What's up with this!

Read all the rave reviews before ordering and couldn't wait to receive it.Was shocked when I took it out of box,slate was dull and had mark's all over it,same for the bottom had rust mark's on it.Box wasn't damaged,doesn't any one check that items aren't damaged before shipping.Very disappointed that Target would ship something that looked like that.

Not as pictured

Very disappointed. Not shiny like the picture. Table top looked like it wasn't finished properly. Had swirl marks and rough edges. The bottom of the table was damaged with chips of paint missing. Returned to store. Don't think it was damaged during shipping.Packed very well with no damage to the box. What happened to quality control?

The Ideal Side Table

I was looking for a side table that would go well with a reading nook, and this one is perfect! The table is very stable despite the heavy granite surface, and the brass is just lovely. Goes very well with my brass-legged chairs. I would highly recommend this table, especially seeing as the quality far outweighs the price!
