Great ottoman! Looks stylish top holds platesbowls quite well openscloses safely and quietly easy clean. We didn’t add the legs because I noticed other reviews said screws went through see reviews w pics).

Very nice piece. All I needed to do was add the feet. Appreciate that the top opens—-and stays open. Smooth and slow closing mechanism—-not worried about tiny fingers getting accidentally pinched by a top that slams shut. Pleased with the purchase.

I had been looking for a long time on line for an ottoman that was lighter in color that I could wipe down if it were to get dirty.

Perfect for my needs. Legs were easy to attach and instructions very clear. I only wish it was a brighter red, but it seems that’s not an “IN” color anymore. Very well made considering the very reasonable price.

The provided screws are too long and protrude inside the box inside which is a problem if using the ottoman as a toy box as we are. We substituted shorter screws and it is fine now. Also the hinges are tight and do not allow the top to open up completely. It will stay fixed open as wide as it will go so as a toy box it will be fine. Harder if you are storing blankets etc. Our color is dark red (Radicchio) almost maroon but it works well in our room. Too early to tell if the cover will hold up but it looks sturdy now.
