Latch is your poorly designed.

Decent for a while, but the latching mechanism is purposely based off a weak point in the plastic (not an actual hinge, nor is it made of a more durable material like metal ) so expect that to be your first failure point. Similar to bending a credit cart back and forth long enough to just before it cracks apart - this is the hinge mechanism.

[Rewarded Review] What a scam!@

I have not even received this product but was totally lied to about the shipping charges. I called when I ordered it and ask the service rep why I was getting charged the shipping cost when my order was over 35.00 dollars. She told me that it didn't qualify but to go ahead and place the order on that Friday and early Monday morning she would credit my card back the shipping charges, so I placed the order. Monday afternoon I still had not seen a credit for the charges so I call customer service and was told that because the order had already been shipped a credit could not be done on the order. I asked then if I had been basically lied to so that I would place the order and the customer service rep hung up on me. I would not order from them again it this is the treatment that their customers receive. Hope this product lives up to the amount that I had to pay for it. What a scam!

C'est la 2e boîte de classement du même modèle que j'achète. Je les adore. Elles sont très pratiques. J'adore le fait que je peux les empiler : ça prendmoins de place. J'y entrepose mes documents pour les impôts dans un et mes autres documents dans l'autre.

File box very "clunky".

The box overall is very clunky and clumsy. the lid has lid that can be opened - i think to keep paper clips or small items in it? the problem is that it flies open very easily so when you open the lid, everything falls out. I'm not sure why it was designed this way or it's purpose is but it's always flying open when I open the lid. Also, when the top lid is opened all the way, it makes a loud noise when it's closed. The latch is also very clunky. Overall, I am not happy with my purchase but I'm keeping it anyway. I just keep my work files in it with the box open and leave it that way. I do not recommend this product as to the poor design.

Works well for storage of tax documents

I bought to organize my taxes and receipts. These do not stack securely on top of each other though. They can be locked to prevent little kids from opening, but they are not a safe for adults.
