Rug fibers everywhere!

The rug was beautiful. However, we immediately noticed significant piling and there were rug fibers all over the house…rooms away! We don’t have children or pets but the fibers this rug releases are unbelievable. Rug fibers are all over our coffee table and our clothes. Each morning, I hand pick huge puffs of fibers that collect on the rug itself. I would not buy this brand again, which is a shame, because we loved the design and the look.

Sheds like crazy

I purchased this rug for my home office. I love the look of it, and the thickness is nice and it lays flat. However, the shedding is really bad. I use this in a relatively low traffic area and i find dust bunnies all over my main floor from this rug, not to mention what I find on the actual rug. I saw another commenter say they have to empty the dyson before they can finish vacuuming the rug. . . . that's also the case for me. I absolutely would not buy this rug for a high traffic area. I've had it 3 months or so. I'm hoping this is the newness, but based on other reviews, I'm concerned that is not the case.

Shedding

I have had this rug and another Chris loves Julie’s rug for well over a year now. They both shed awful. You can’t sit on it without being covered in fibers. The fibers get all over throw blankets and pillows and even end up getting in my eyes. The rugs are beautiful but not worth the shedding. Even after a year, I can’t vacuum them with my cordless Dyson without having to empty the Dyson from being clogged with fibers. It’s so annoying and I can’t wait to replace them both

I’ve only had the rug three days so I reserved a star because I can not comment on longevity. I love the color and how it coordinates with my blue couch without standing out too much. It seems like it would work well with most furniture. The quality is really nice and It feels good on your feet. I haven’t vacuumed it yet but have noticed a few areas of shedding but not bad. I would recommend.

This rug is so gorgeous and the color is amazing, but it sheds! Its not worth the hassle of vacuuming constantly and dealing w the tiny whites fibers on everything. i ended up returning and was so sad bc it really is lovely. I just couldn't handle it for a baby's room.

I absolutely love this company that makes this rug. Chris loves Julia rugs are beautiful, durable, and worth every penny!!!! The rug it self has been a great addition to my home and decor!

The rug looks great. Just as photographed. It was well packaged for delivery. However it STINKS. The doors and windows have to be wide open to air out the room for days. I worry about what chemicals we may be inhaling.

Love this rug! It’s a true blue and the color is definitely more pronounced than what I was expecting but it’s fine. We got the 9x12 for under our king bed and love it. The quality is fantastic and feels great underfoot. Because it’s wool, I wouldn’t consider it if we were going to sit and lay on it like in a loft but totally fine for in and out of bed. No terrible shedding and I only really notice a bit when I vacuum. Love it and will totally be considering another style with same line for future rug purchases.

This is a lovely color rug with a nice pattern and seemingly high-quality weave. FYI the cats are able to pull strands up with their claws. I opted for a more neutral color for my room, but would have loved for this to work.

The rug seems to be good quality and is a neutral color with a subtle pattern. I don't think it will show much dirt/wear over time. My cats are able to pull strands up with their claws, however, which is more of an FYI for those with pets.

Im obsessed with my new rug. Its everything and more that I hoped for in a rug. Pics dont do it justice. Sure...theres a little bump in the corner but Im sure after time it will settle down. Ive heard of using ice but I dont want anything on it at the moment. It has the feeling and the thickness(not too thick) of an expensive retail rug but at literally a 14 of the cost. I did buy the 5 year insurance because if one thing happens to this beauty, I want to know Im covered and able to replace her immediately. I really, really love this rug.

Lovely rug for a vacation home I was decorating. Lovely colors and comfortable pile.

I LOVE this rug. It's beautiful. Unforunately, my cat LOVES clawing at it and my dog LOVES nipping bits out. Fantastic rug but if you have pets, maybe not great.
