Tub is EGG shaped not Oval

I bought the smaller tub 29 x 59 because it fit our space. I had looked at alot of freestanding tubs before buying this one. I'm not happy at all because this tub IS NOT OVAL it it is EGG shaped. Much more narrow in front where the drain is than the back, Ive spent all this money to completely remodel my master bath and something that was supposed to be really pretty looks odd. I had looked at the model of this tub at Lowes and it was oval but it must have been the larger size. I had looked at all the pictures and descriptions and didnt notice anywhere that it was egg shaped. Description for the small one also says oval so I think it was quite misleading. I would have returned it but didnt see the tub until it was being installed.

Lovely tub but something is wrong...

I want to say first and foremost that I absolutely LOVE this bathtub (and I'm sorry up front about this long post). I gave it 3 stars because the shape, the soaking depth, and the feel of this tub are all perfect. It's beautiful and looks both classic and modern at the same time. I am 5'8 inches tall and this tub swallows me up. Unfortunately, though, I can't brag about the durability, the luxurious soaking experience (since I have yet to be able to soak in it), or the Lowe's customer service. Something is wrong somewhere.

Wonderful, classy look for my master bath. Smooth lines. Plumber had no problem installing. Very reasonable price.

Looks good, concerns about durability. Affordable

We bought the tub in May 2020. It is not yet completed or installed. When we initially received the tub, we inspected for damage as told by the associates yet we did not remove all the protective film. Today was final install and sd we removed all the foam and film, we discovered visible cracks around the lip, underneath all the foam and film.....When we roughed-in the tub, it looks good. It is deep. I am 5'11" and it fits good for me. The tub had great reviews so we took a chance. Now when inquiring about an exchange, the chat box service on the site cannot help you. You must call customer service. Left a message for customer service. Hopefully theyll allow us to exchange. 2 stars as I dont think this is a Lowes issue, moreso manufacturing. The cracks looks to be existent from the manufacturer. The package was shipped well which made me believe the personnel handling this tub decided to ignore the crack. In the photos you will see the cracks. I will update my review once my case has been finalized and the tub is installed and functioning.

Showe rdoors

Tub is fine works well. Not as sturdy as some others. There is a special drain kit you need to buy with tub if you don't have open access to drains which I bought from Jacuzzi and only knew about it because I have a friend who is a jacuzzi repairman. The drain cost 130.00 . The people at lowes had no idea on how this tub gets installed and were 0 help .

[Rewarded Review] Best Tub Ever!

I got this tub for my husband who is 6' tall and works hard and works out often. He needs baths to relax and help with muscle pain. Well it is the STAR of the remodel. It is deep, roomy, comfortable and gorgeous. Something about the shape maybe?-It is SO relaxing. The water stays hot. I was taking a bath and had to go clean up glass one kid broke and make a sandwich for the other kid bc the dog at his dinner. I was gone maybe 45 mins. Went back to my bath and it was the same temp as when I left it! It's just fabulous. Look no further. I compared the specs and reviews of all the tubs around 1k dollars. This is the winner.

[Rewarded Review] Sturdy, Solid, and Spectacular!

Overall, I am happy with the tub. It is very deep and feels luxurious when I have taken a bath. Our installer didn't have any problems with the installation and said it was heavier and felt more study than other freestanding tubs he has installed The description of it being "reversible drain" was a bit confusing, especially when it was delivered in a box that said "left hand" drain. When I contacted Lowes about the discrepancy and my worry it would create installation problems, they stated that the description meant the tub could be turned in either direction thus making it "reversible" and were very reassuring I could return it if I had any problems. The pictures on the website don't clearly show its true oval shape, but it is definitely narrower on one end. (I don't know why the photo uploaded sideways!)

Bought this for my wife’s new bathroom and she fell in love instantly. Says it’s extremely comfortable. Cannot get her out of it some days. She just enjoys laying in her tub.

[Rewarded Review] Great looking tub

Great looking tub. Heavier than we thought it would be, but not too heavy. The shape is not symmetrical, it is narrower at the drain end. Overall, happy with the purchase.
