This desk is huge!! I love it! I was so worried when I saw the box so beat up in shipping, but it arrived without a scratch! Be aware that this desk is huge and very heavy, you will need help putting it together and lifting it.. I love it!! Thank you!!

Looks good, mediocre quality, smells.

It is a clean looking desk as pictured, however the quality is disappointing. The is definitely a mediocre product at best. The surface finish quality is poor and will not stand up well in ordinary use -- I think it would be compromised in short order with just a cup of coffee set on it. Assembly had glitches -- connectors that do not fully connect and structural parts that are not completely unfinished where particle board is uncoated. Those exposed particle board parts outgas fumes from glue and chemicals. I do not recommend this for anyone with chemical sensitivity. I happened to have a glass table top that I wasn't using that covers most of the desktop otherwise, I would be concerned to keep/use it all.

The Barbie Dream Desk ... this is not a compliment

The desk is disappointing for $*. I'd pay $* for this desk, but I wouldn't be blown away by the value. I knew it was melamine when I purchased it, but it all feels ... cheap ... like Barbie's Dream Desk. After I unboxed everything and finished building the base, I found out the desk top was cracked on the bottom. Very discouraging. The box was severely beat up and the foam inside had been turned into a whole bunch of little foam pebbles that took a while to clean up. Additionally, the desk is scratched, scuffed, and marked up in a number of places. It took me 30 minutes to get it cleaned up as best I could. I'd return it if not for the massive headache of disassembling, re-boxing, and returning. As it stands, I need a desk, so I'll just have to put up with the disappointment and leave a bad review. In the end, I'm disappointed with the quality of the desk and finishes for the price paid. The gromets are cheap. When I say cheap, I don't mean they are made of plastic. The finished product is something I'd expect to see on the Barbie Dream Desk for my 8 year old. Not only is it plastic, it is poorly finished, cheap plastic. I intend to replace these. There are similar big box stores with better alternatives and finishes. At least you can check to make sure the parts aren't damaged and see if the finishes are acceptable for your purposes. Given the chance to do this over, I would have gone with that option. Less

SOLID set for a happier space

This desk and return are SOLID. Very heavy and sturdy for sure! It is also very easy to put together (if you have two people cause the top is cumbersome by yourself). The white color is super crisp and bright too. Love it!

Not disappointed

I purchased the desk and two matching cabinets. I was reluctant because the prices were suspiciously low and the online reviews were horrible with regard to assembly. I don’t get that as my cabinets were already assembled except for the hardware and the desk took no time to put together. Online reviews also complained about the hardware but that too was good. Not plastic, really nice. My only issue is the laminate shows fingerprints and scratches easily but I can make it work. Recommend.

Heavy duty desk.

It’s a heavy duty desk. Then package was very very heavy. I’m home alone to put it together and I have to unpacked it in garage to able take all pieces into the house. My back board was missing couple holes. ( I think total is 3 holes) I end up just skip those three holes. End up just fine. Still very sturdy. I don’t want to have take it apart and take it to garage again. Hopefully with missing screws in place it will last still.

I like the desk. It is heavy, goes together easy, and seems sturdy and should hold up well. Used glue on mine for extra strength. Down sides; Top was smeared with glue residue, which was also seeping from applied edges. Got it off scrubbing with magic eraser. Also, plastic plugs to fill unused holes underneath are white plastic, but the 2 huge wire management plugs on the top came in silver, not white! Why!?

Great quality home office desk for very good price

Everything I needed this desk to me. Large surface area, sturdy, easy to assemble. I was looking for a large desk to support three monitors. What I quickly learned is that covid has made acquiring home office furniture (well, any furniture, really) quite challenging. Overstock and Bush Business Furniture came through for me though.

Very attractive, practical desk for a fair price

Very pleased with my new desk. I have had it setup for about 3 weeks now and I could not be happier with my choice. It is very attractive, a great value and looks perfect in my office. It easily fits my laptop, a large monitor and a small lamp. The only knock is that it does not have a drawer but I knew that going into it. I am confident that I made a great decision for my desk needs.

wrongly listed as MDF; it's particle board, but it's *good* heavy particle board -- the top is a full inch thick. the laminate is really solid and the gray color is lovely. it has little feet on the bottom that extend about 3/4 of an inch for some extra height; i'm using them now and the whole thing is just as stable as it was without the feet extended. no flex or wobble whatsoever. my mom and my aunt put it together for me in about 45 minutes tops. it's a super sturdy and well-constructed desk, and i think it'll last for at least a decade. very happy with it.

Heavy and sturdy!

The desk is very sturdy and stable. It weighs a lot, but it is solid wood and that just gives it the stability and durability I was looking for in a desk. Assembly was fairly simple and did not require any power tools; just a screwdriver. My only complaint is that the holes for routing wires is on the inside of the "modesty panel" instead of the far side. I have this desk set up against a wall, so it would have been much cleaner for wire management if I could hide it all in between the wall and the "modesty panel" instead of having it all visible underneath the table.

Solid, sturdy desk; issue with cord containment.

Very sturdy, streamlined desk that fit our space perfectly. Only strange thing is that the cord containment holes are in front of the back panel, so if using them, the cords would be visible from the front. Seems like cords should fall behind the back panel to be hidden from view. Other than that, great quality and value. Considering a second identical desk for our office.
