The bowls are absolutely beautiful. They almost seem blueish gray more so than the product listing pic shows. They are sturdy and I was surprised at the weight of the bowls. Definitely high quality and I am happy with my purchase!

Really sturdy and beautifully designed

Our previous crockery was always getting chipped and needed something sturdy to replace it with. Really love this set, especially the cups as they're designed with a ribbed effect and soup bowls are a generous size. Dishwasher safe too which is really important. Very happy with them. One of the plates did have an imperfection on the underside (seemed to be excessive clay) but decided not to bother returning it as not impacting the use of them.

As always Denby dishes are great. I have had my set for over a decade, still going strong and looking new.

After several years of Mikasa chromatic, we pulled the trigger on Denby for our every day dishes. As the set arrives (we’ve had to buy the pieces separately as the stock has been out everywhere) we have been more and more thrilled about the value. These cereal bowls, for example, comfortably double for soups and ramen. They are not too large or too small, and they have weight yet are not cumbersome. The pasta bowls are broader and work well with stews and clear broth or salads. I love the thoughtful design: the base on this set is out toward the edge of the pieces so they squarely so there is no instability if a food item is cut or moved around. And the high lip on outside edge of the regular and midsized plates make them feel so sturdy, level. So happy with these dishes!

Great quality dishes. Got them to replace a cabinet full of very old Fiestaware and I’m happy with the purchase. It was hard to spend so much on a full set of dishes (got several different sizes of the Denby Studio Grey) but I think it was worth it. Very sturdy dishes. And the packing was superb. Very well protected in the box when it arrived. I ordered 24 total pieces and not a single one was damaged in shipping.

This line of casual dinnerware is beautiful, while providing the level of quality that I seek, as a consumer. These dishes provide the flexibility needed, for an everyday set. SPLURGE!!!!!!!

Good sized bowl.

Mainly used as cereal bowls but also for soup. A good size bowl, well made in England. Very happy with purchase.

Beautiful little works of art in a bowl

This is our second Denby range--we decided to change our look this year and I just love the Studio grey range. These bowls are rounder than our old ones and I love them even more. The four bowls are a perfect match to each other. They were also so well packaged. I would definitely buy from Denby again.

Replacement Denby Cereal Bowls

Pleased that when I had an accidental 'smashing time' last week John Lewis was open and had a replacement set. Colour is good and the quality is excellent .

Beautiful dishes

The set of dishes I bought 48 years ago was Denby Langley Whisper. I am trying to compliment my remaining set with these beautiful dishes. These are hard to find but I don’t mind tracking them down!!
