Love it but assembly was long and difficult

This looks perfect in my den and is the right color, style, width and height for what I needed. I had a male friend help me put it together and realized why Home Depot charges $179 to assemble it! It took about 3 hours! Lots of different parts! Once finished it looks great! So far, I haven't loaded up the shelfs with anything more than my cable box and I like how neat that looks, but I'll probably eventually start putting things in.

Assembly /Quality

I didn't get pass the 6th piece and was already having problems with the assembly. The holes did not line up and quality was less that what I expected. Took it apart twice and had someone else try it and they couldn't assemble it either. Either the boards were numbered wrong or the holes weren't cut out correctly.

Almost perfect

The instructions were adequate. I assembled it on my own, but would recommend a second person for some steps. The finished product is solid and looks appealing. On the negative side, the back panel was too long and the product was packed with a tremendous amount of styrofoam that has to be disposed of.

Above and beyond

Ordered this TV console to go beneath a large wall mounted TV. I was worried it would be the typical fake wood/pressed wood products. HUGE surprise when it turned out to be real wood and very well made. Assembly went smoothly %26 took my husband and I about an hour. This cabinet is heavy!! It’s beautiful wood, spacious storage and made to last. We could not be more pleased with the quality at such a good price.

Great value, looks good.

We ordered this mid Decenber 2023, it was delivered within a week. It went together very easily, I did have a cpouple question from the distributor/vender which it was a pleasure to talk to, problem resolved. The console it is engineered to the "T", The bottom line my wife Love it, now it sits in the Den under her TV. Highly recomended

Very happy with this product. I have put many cabniets together but is by far the best one. Everything fit together perfectly, and even the ccrews went in with no issues and held. The doors were easy to line up so they are level and equal spaces on each side of the door. We spent approximately 6 hours putting the cabient however I am in my 70's so a younger person would probly build it quicker. I highly recommend thid product.

It was like a previous returned item

It was worth the price, but I returned it. The boards were all dusty, and they didn't look brand new. There were a few dents that I tried to fix, and the main reason I returned it was that it was missing board number 17, the one that goes in the middle. The instructions seemed easy to follow. I really wanted to keep it, though.

Beautiful

It is a heavy piece of furniture and will need two people to bring it in if you live upstairs as I do. Easy to put together if you lay everything out first. It's beautiful and looks so pretty in my living room. Love, love love this.

A decent cabinet for the price

The packaging arrived in very poor condition but the console was surprisingly in good condition except for a few minor scratches. Fortunately, I was able to correct those with a touch-up stick and they were not in places that would be seen anyway. All-in-all a decent cabinet for the price and it blends in very nicely with the room furniture. I would recommend.

For the size and price, it is ok.

The tall TV stand arrived in a very beat up box. Punctured and slightly ripped. It was left by the shipper without being seen and no signature. Had great doubts but opened it anyway, and no damage at all to parts inside. No problems. It is a dark color finish. There were only two choices dark and darker. Wish there were some light color options.

I mean it's alright. I bought it for my grandparents and put it together for them. There's always adjusting needed for precut parts. I had to slam some pieces together, the doors were a bit off centered. Which unless you stare at you can't really tell. It does look nice, the fitment needs work though. It seemed very unstable until I drilled in the back panels.

Excellent Customer Service!

I love the cabinet. Just the right size and color. It is hard to find something tall and wide for a reasonable price. But more importantly was the absolute best customer service I have dealt with. I received my cabinet with a damage top. I was offered options. I received a new top (very quickly by the way) and was able to settle everything nicely through Hayneedle and Convenience Concepts. I am setting up an account and will visit here first!

Love it!

We have spent quite a while looking for a new entertainment center that was the right size, had enough storage space, and that we actually liked the look of. We finally decided on this one and are glad we did. Our first delivery did not go well. The box arrived severely damaged and a quick peak into just one side of the box showed badly chipped and even split wood. We immediately called and after a quick conversation and pictures to show the damage, they sent another out and it arrived just days later. Luckily the next one arrived in good condition. The piece itself is great. It is sturdy and looks great in our living room. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because with so many compartments, there really should be additional holes on the back for wires. Overall though we love it and are glad we purchased it. This was our first furniture purchase from overstock and while it started off rough, they were quick to make it right. Would definitely purchase this piece again and from this site.

Takes two people to put together, some pieces very heavy. Love the color, it's beautiful and the design is great. The problems I had was that it chips easy. Barely hit it with another piece of the unit and the finish came right off. And the stickers with the numbers of each item is so hard to get off, and I used a soft cloth and mild cleaner and the glue from the stickers left a discoloration to the finish. I would return it if I hadn't already spent two days putting it together and was almost done when these isssues came up. I would not buy it again.

I received the box rather quickly but it was completely smashed so I contacted overstock and they sent me a new one right away. I received the new box and it was also smashed with a large hole in the box. However the contents weren't so bad so I put it together (took about 2 hours). The piece that keeps the doors from shutting was completely broken off so I had to super glue that piece together. It had far too many dings and scratches for being new which is why it's rated so low. I still have the broken one and I'm not sure how to dispose of it since it's so big. I like the overall product.

Perfect for us - detailed review

We got this TV stand as our 1 year old transitioned into the need for more baby proofing. I am a 25 year old female and am admittedly not very strong or in shape. It took me 2.5 hours to put this together by myself. It was not difficult. Every single piece was labeled, the hardware came in labeled baggies, and the directions were clear and concise. It was also easy to add baby locks to the cabinets and only took an additional five minutes. It's a beautiful piece of furniture, it's tall enough to keep the TV out of baby's reach, and if you want to have your cable box/WiFi/gaming console behind a locked door, all you have to do is flip the back piece upside down and create your own holes to screw the back panel into the top shelf. Then the wire hole is down behind the middle doors instead of in the top compartment. Absolutely worth the money and very nice looking.

Buy it!

It took me several weeks to finally find a tall TV stand that I liked. I never thought I'd find it at Walmart, but I did! We wanted to raise the height of our wide screen TV so we could see it from our bed. The wood is beautiful. It looks like a very fine piece of furniture. The back is cardboard, but it's the best cardboard I've worked with. It's heavy, but not so heavy that two senior citizens like my husband and myself couldn't handle. Of course, we did open the box while it was still in the back of the pick-up truck, and brought it into the house a few pieces at a time. The box was mangled when we picked it up at our local Walmart, but the inner packaging was more than adequate to protect the furniture. It did take us at least three hours to put it together. The instructions were pretty good and all the parts were there and packaged separately for easy identification. Don't bother using the plastic caps that are supposed to hide the holes you don't use for the shelves. They are much too big and fall right out. I took a furniture scratch cover marker and stained the unused holes and now they are invisible to the eye. All the pre-drilled holes were the proper size except the ones for the door hinges inside the cabinet. They were much too small. It was very aggravating and time consuming to install them. The cabinets on the right side had to be screwed in with your left hand using a manual screwdriver, as the space was too small for an electric drill to be used. That was difficult as my husband is right handed and his left wrist is a bit arthritic. . But all in all, this was the perfect cabinet for us. It's just the right height for comfortable TV viewing, reasonably priced, free pick-up at the Walmart of our choice and it looks great! I'd buy it again.
