[Rewarded Review] Good rectangular patio umbrella
I wanted a rectangle umbrella for covering a rectangle outdoor dinner table that I have. For the average 6 person table, this umbrella will work well. I haven't had in up in light rain, so I do not know how water resistant it is. Though, I usually treat my outdoor umbrellas with a water proofer and I will be treating this one.

I really like the color and size of this umbrella. It completely shades the picnic table where the kids hang out. We live in a very sunny and windy location and need a bit of shade in the summer and hopefully this will fit the bill. The umbrella did not come with a stand but since the pole separates easily with a push locking button, I pi the lower section in a 5 gal bucket and filled with concrete. Not sure I would leave the umbrella out all the time due to the extreme sun and wind but the quick release is easy to operate and remove for storage. The pole for the umbrella also tilts and locks into position which is great for tracking the sun. The only negative I have which is not a big deal is the velcro strap used for wrapping the canopy for storage is to long to actually hold it tight. No problem..I just tie it and put it in the shed.

I love this patio umbrella. The rectangular shape is super practical for my deck. It covers our dining table nicely. The post fits into my umbrella stand and through the hole in my table. I’ve seen umbrellas that have a post that is too large in diameter to fit. That’s not the case here though. It fits perfectly. The height of this umbrella when opened is comfortable for me to walk under. I’m 6’3” tall. The rectangle shape fits the alcove where my griddle is located too. If I want to use the griddle in the rain, I use an umbrella stand and put this umbrella in the corner and cover my griddle work area. I love this umbrella. The canvas material seems durable and water resistant. The crank mechanism does a nice job of raising and lowering the umbrella. Assembly was easy too. The post just slips onto the pole and the catches engage and that’s it. I recommend this umbrella to anyone that needs a stylish and simple solution to cover a table.
