This item came with a manufacturing defect that left the item completely worthless and not able to be installed. So disappointing.

DO NOT PURCHASE. Broke after second use. Horrible cheap and a waste of money :/

Able to hold 100 ft is an exageration!

I put 100 ft of hose on this and the reel kept falling off its holder when the reel was rotated. The clip that locks it in place wouldn't stay locked. And the hose hadn't been charged with water yet so just the weight of the hose was too much. Also, the 100 ft was not fully contained by the reel - it was 2 or 3 wraps beyond the proper capacity of the reel. Will remount it around the back of the house with 50 ft of hose and see how that goes. Also, I find the handle too small to grasp easily. A previous edition of this that I had for more than 10 years had a straight 4 inch long handle that worked much better than this doorknob style handle.

I was disappointed I thought it would be heavier and thicker the picture gives it a solid,thicker look .It was flimsy .The lock did not work. The water connections are a very cheap plastic should be heavier. The design is very eye catching and it does look good on the house I hope it will last for some time.

Looked to be similar to the model I bought years ago, but was much flimsier and clearly would not last. Was returned, I will be sourcing a more substantial version.

I have yet to install the vast sidewinder wall mount hose reel cause I’m having work done on my house , but it’s a convenient tool to quickly put the water hose up it is very durable and it looks great in design.

The design of the hose reel is nice and seems like it’s matching with the look we’re going for. The reel came with the installation screws and was a breeze to put up. Very easy and convenient.

The installation of the hose on the mount was fairly easy. I just did not want to drill it on house so I just have it sitting on the ground instead. It does make the garden hose look better than it just laying on the ground. It has ok durability and our hose was too large for its capacity just by a little bit.

Still, it seems sturdy enough for everyday household use. Had to rely on YouTube for clearer install tips, though - those instructions were a bit sketchy!"

This sidewinder has a great color and was easy to install. We were able to easily wind up out hose and the reel worked great. The hose we used was 50 ft long and it easily fit onto the winder.

This is the perfect thing to help corral by backyard hose. Good looking and durable, I just need a new drill bit to install on the wall of my masonry garage.

I’ve wanted a hose reel for awhile but could never find one that matched the colors of Our house and wasn’t cheaply made. This hose real is durable and well made. It is also really pretty so that’s a plus!

I live in California and we use our hose often. In the summer I use it to spray down my pool deck. In the winter I use it to hose down my patio from all the leaves and outdoor debris. In the spring I use it to water my garden. This hose real is going to make things so much easier for me. I can roll up the hose now with easy. I don’t have to leave my hose on the ground. This makes it so much nicer to store. I am so thankful for this! My family members came over and they are now ordering these too.

This decorative wall mount looks like real bronze metal. I think it adds a nice decoration to wall and at the same time useful for storing water hose neatly. Since it is not metal it was lightweight.

Grateful to have opportunity to try and review this item. We’ve been looking for a while for a hose reel since our hose is all over the place. Great item that can get affixed to the wall. Helps keep out item out of the way and easy to unravel again.

About 2 years and still going strong

This has been up now for a couple of years. It looks a beautiful and new today as it did years ago upon installation. I use a 50 foot metal hose this is perfect and works well.
