I have been looking for new colanders for a while, but could not find anything that was the quality that I wanted. Finally I found the perfect set at Food 52. These are a beautiful “bottle blue”design, heavy weight and sturdy with multiple functions. Thank you for finding these colanders!!!

Sized all wrong but a beautiful piece anyway

The size of this colander is totally wrong. It was 1 1/2 qt. , not 3 qt. Also the height is 6” not 8”. However it is very well made and beautiful so I will be keeping it since my plan was to use it on my counter to ripen fruit and vegetables.

Lovely color and shape

Beautiful and functional. Only surprise was the size of the smaller colander--the photos definitely mislead on the relative sizes. The small colander is much, much smaller than the large one but perfect for rinsing berries and small veg like snap peas.

Sturdy and beautiful

It's much heavier than I anticipated, but in a good way. It feels like I'll have this colander for the rest of my life and the enamel finish makes it pretty enough to leave out.

beautiful product, not Food52 quality

I purchased the colander in the 3 different sizes, they are lovely but the quality is not great. After washing 2 of the colanders in the dishwasher (per directions) the finish on the handles became dull, rough, and pitted. The 1.5 qt size came with rusted screws, they sent a second at no charge (great service!); however, the second one also had rusted screws. I have purchased numerous items from Food52 and this has been the only disappointment - not up to the usual quality. They are beautiful colanders but very disappointed in quality and doubtful they will last long.
