Lots of lint on 1st wash and dry

These towels are extra soft because they're not pre-washed. First wash of towels by themselves left lots of lint in the dryer. Had to run them in the dryer six or more times to remove excess lint, costing us money and energy and time before actually using it.

Quality is lacking

The towels are very thin and feel cheap. I expected them to be like my current Wamsutta Turkish Cotton towels. These fall way short of that expectation.

Best Egyptian Towel Set

Very rich color called toast. Extremely water absorbant and made of Egyptian cotton. This is my first time owning Egyptian cotton. I love this towel set. Price was also reasonable.

Absorbent without the Fluff

Nice and absorbent but lacking fluff. The last set of Egyptian Cotton towels i purchased from Macy's were extremely extremely fluffy. They didn't have that brand so i tried another. Towels ARE absorbent just lacking the beautiful fluff that i oh so love.

Garbage

These towels were absolutely awful. Looked nice, and were very soft; the only problem was that they do not absorb any water and you cannot dry yourself using them. Total Garbage

Not Holding Up

Towels frayed at trim after first wash, leaving large strings dangling. They’re still shedding lint on other items in laundry after third wash. Likely going to toss these.

Retired

Best towels I’ve purchased in years. Washed & dried nicely….very soft. I paid a little more but the quality was worth it. That is something you do not get very often today. Like back in the old days, you paid a little more but you got the quality you wanted. That is not the case today. So these towels were a pleasant surprise. Where they were made plays a huge roll in quality too.

Thin and Scratchy - Being returned.

These towels were so thin and scratchy that we did not even take them out of the plastic packaging but returned them to Macy's. The towels were not the usual quality that Macy's carries. I would never purchase this brand again.

Body and washer friendly!

These bath size towels are extra soft, plenty absorbent and wash / dry nicely. Quality in a set of towels is what I look for these days. I even use the bath towel size for when i use the hot tub.

Very thin

Perhaps the product has changed since earlier reviews were written. I received these today and can confirm that the words "Heavyweight," "Plush," and "Luxury" should be removed from the description because they are misleading. I am not a picky person with towels but was surprised to find these to be thin and flimsy. I have not tried them after a shower yet, so will have to see if "Highly-Absorbent" should be removed from the description too. They feel cheap and should have cost half the price. Stay away if you are looking for plush towels.

Great Towels

These towels are great I love the size of them, they are very absorbent and quick drying. Love the color I ordered burgundy and they are so soft. I recommend these towels, you will not be disappointed. Shipping was fast and on time with no damage.

Wonderful towels

These are the best towels I've ever used. They're thick and soft due to the long-strands of Egyptian cotton. They wash well and look brand new when you rehang them. I will definitely recommend them and buy them again myself.

Not absorbent

I like the color, a pale yellow I haven't been able to find otherwise, and the light weight. But, they are not absorbent, even after washing in hot water with laundry soap. I've run into this once before and don't understand how 100% cotton towels can not be and how to know to avoid this. So, I won't even use them and have gone back to what I had before.

Happy with my purchase of these cotton towels. I've used them myself for several years and this past holiday. I purchased them as a gift. My parents were very happy with the quality of these towels. I purchased several different colors they have all held thier color through. several washes I expect them to last for years.

I used to buy the 900 gsm towels from Superior and they were very high quality; however, these towels are paper thin. You can get the same quality at any dollar store, sadly. I won't purchase them again.

Great buy, last forever

I'm glad I found this request for review for this product I bought years ago as I can now reorder these towels and tell you how they held up. They're wonderful. Years later and they're still thick and absorbent, no fraying. When I reach in the linen cabinet automatically reach for one.

This is a nice set to have some of each item you need. They are very soft. They dry easily. When I washed them there was not a bunch of lint so you can tell right away these are good quality. I have washed them a few times already and they still feel and look brand new. The washcloths are perfect to use with body wash or bar soap. Helps either get that nice soapy lather to get yourself nice and clean

Disappointed. Not good quality.

Finally found hard to find Yellow Towel sets. When opening package, towels were very soft, but found some "picks" on them which I cut back before washing. After first wash and first use, they are not absorbent and had additional picks. Supposed to be Turkish Cotton 100%. After second wash this week, the towels came out covered in picks, so I am extremely disappointed in quality. Will have to see if these improved for absorbency after this 2nd wash when they are next used. Will not buy again.
