Great Pillow Shams

These pillow shams are ready nice and soft yet sturdy there made well I got the black color. I would recommend this item to my friends and family.

Great quality

The Pillow Shams are very good quality. This was my second purchase of the pillow shams and I bought them 3 yrs. go and they are still the the same good quality. Mine are White.

Perhaps the black was a poor choice. Thick and rough fabric - feels cheap. Every speck of lint from the bed sticks. Placed on the bed for 2 minutes and removed. Will return these.

Great for Decorative Purposes but Not Soft

I love the look of these and they are perfect for our guest daybed, a nice true crisp white look, but they aren't the softest pillow cases in the world. Great for decorative purposes but if you are looking for an every night pillow case you may want to go a different route.

Love these pillow shams so much I bought two pairs. That way when I strip my cover pillows to wash the shams, I have a second clean set always ready to go. Material is sturdy and strong, the material is soft but with a a surface that is easy to wipe down in case of an accident

I almost gave this 2 stars, but I was able to fix the problem--black stitching right in the middle of one of these white shams! After 20 minutes with a needle and a pair of tweezers I was able to pull out the random (and tightly stitched) black thread. They look fine now. I haven't washed them yet so it remains to be seen how that goes.

I love the color and texture of the Cotton Blend Poplin Tailored Decorative Pillow Shams (pack of 2) in King Mocha AND the 2) Fresh Ideas Poplin 14" drop bedskirt in King Mocha. The fabric texture and color of the bedskirt and shams are identical, therefore match perfectly. I paired these with another Overstock purchase: the VCNY Nina Embossed 3-piece KING quilt set for my king bed. I bought white (the quilt fabric feels like fine brushed no-iron cotton and washed flawlessly).

Very poor quality and within a few washes the stitching will easily undo! I almost tore the stitching just trying to get a pillow in and the material is not soft and scratchy. I wouldn’t recommend these especially for the price point! I know you can get Bette for the same price.

Navy Shams

i got these in the navy. They are a true navy. Very nice for the price if you just need some plain shams to add to add some color. Seem to be good quality. Shipping was fast, as always! Update - Where are my reward points for this review?

Pills after one wash, rough texture

I was new to poplin, but thought it would be a sturdy fabric for decorating with. They pulled after one wash and require ironing. Won't buy again. Planning on quilted shams without the two inch trim. Easier to wash with my husband who doesn't understand a decorative pillow (or pillow case) from a normal one. 🙄

Ouch

The pillowcases are stiff, starchy, and uncomfortable. This is a case of look but don't touch. I've washed them hoping they would soften up, and they have slightly. However not recommended for anyone looking to actually sleep with their pillows. Waste of time and money.

Pillow Sham

This sham is of a heavy grade cotton material. I bought 2. They will be durable, I'm sure. I use them for throw pillows. I would much rather have had a color other than black, but that is all that was offered on Walmart's site. As w/ most Walmart online purchases, I had to wait at least a week to receive, if not longer. Amazon is much faster in this regard.

Don't waste your money!!!

These are the most God awful shams I've ever had to deal with. The dry cleaners lost one of my shams that matched my white comforter, so I was forced to order new ones. When these arrived, I could not believe the shotty craftmanship put into these shams. I had out of town guess coming so I had to use them.

a little misleading

I would've given these a higher rating, the fabric is nice, but the outside edge is limp and hangs. I thought the outside would be stiffer and look filled. Instead the pillow looks stuffed, with a droopy outer rim...it just doesn't work. As of yet I haven't figured out how to stiffen the outside edge, and I wish I didn't have to! Trust me, the picture shows the outside all stiff and crisp....try sloppily hanging all around........ I hate to write bad news, but I would be misleading you if I didn't.

Ivory color dsnt match

Unfortunately, this ivory is very light, pale ivory, not the creamy ivory I needed to match sheet set. Its also thick and stiffer material, not soft at all. Had it been the right shade of ivory I needed, I may have kept them though because they'd stay under the pillowcase pillows I actually sleep on. Also, washed them once & they ddnt soften at all. I rated value low because I found cheaper shams in ivory on Amazon.

Scratchy fabric

If you were planning to use these for any other than just a display then you will not be happy. My husband made me take them off the bed because when he leaned against the fabric it was too hard. I've never used them. The fabric is the type that doctors' coats are made from. This item is probably the most disappointing I have purchased from overstock; I've bought some great things from this site over the years.
